I am selling a vintage Mitsuru bamboo fly rod with a Bonson Royal 360 fly reel. The rod is in very good condition. All of the eyelets are in tact, the only deficiencies I can see is the top edge of the cork has some pieces of cork flaking off. The fly rod is about 8 feet long, the reel turns fine but I cant verify that it casts because I bought it from an estate auction and couldnt begin to tell you how to cast a fly reel, give me a Zebco 202 and Im fine. Up for bid is one vintage PORTAGE'SENTRIE' Nickel Plated Trout/Fly Reel with Clicker. Drag Control, 4:1 Geared Multiplier, and 40 yard line capacity. The PORTAGE was manufactured by Pflueger. The reel has nickel plating over brass. The plating is in excellent condition. The reel appears new. Never used, there are no marks even on the foot that would indicate use(see photos) There is a clicker controlled by a slide button on the back plate and drag control through a second slide button on the rear plate. It is in excellent working condition. The handle appears to have a ivory colored plastic knob. On the handle side face plate it is marked"SENTRIE" above a trade mark logo of a fish jumping at sunrise. Then" PORTAGE. TRADE MARK" written below. You are bidding on a South Bend 1140 Oreno-Matic Free Stripping Fly Rod Reel with its original box and purchase receipt from February 5th. 1961. This reel is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition with a couple of very light scratches visible on close inspection. The auto wind is very smooth and the spool spins quickly and smoothly when the retrieve lever is depressed. This reel was either never used or only used very lightly. UNION HARDWARE CO. TORRINGTON, CONN. The reel has nickel plating over brass. The plating is in excellent condition. There is a clicker controlled by a slide button on the rear plate. The front cover has a patented hinge on the bottom that allows the front cover to be opened by releasing a slide button catch on the top of the front cover. The patent was granted in 1906. Pat. No. 832,291. It is in excellent working condition. This reel is in new condition and shows no signs of ever being mounted on a pole or having line on it. As shown this is a HUMPHREYS DENVER MODEL 3A fly reel. This is in great shape this is stainless steel has some rub marks on it. I am not familiar with fly reels but this has line in it and reels it fine by pushing a thumb button. This does not have any kind of anti reverse button but I am guessing that is not used on these type of reels. Everything seems good reels in good just some rub marks and light scratches are about all there is to tell.

Vintage Brass Crank Handle Fly Reel w/2.5:1 Multiplier, Stop Lever - Unmarked
Up for bid one Vintage Crank Handle Brass Trout/Fly Reel with 2.5:1 Multiplier and Stop lever- unmarked as to manufacturer. This reel is constructed of brass. There is a no clicker I believe. Although there is some noise which I attribute to the gears. It is in fair working condition. As the reel is operated it is not smooth, there is some drag that is not even. The handle has a ivory knob and a straight handle. There is one screw on the front plate(right side) that doesn't match the other screws and appears to be a replacement. The foot is a machined casting. Two things that I notice that seem unique is on the rear plate the pillars are ground flush with the plate, and a second item is on the front side of the spool there is a hole(see photos) It measures 1-3/4" diameter. 2-13/16" deep including the handle, and has a foot measuring ... more2-7/16" long by 9/16" wide. Up for bid is one Vintage ABBEY& IMBRIE Hard Rubber& Nickel Plated Brass Fly Reel with 2:1 Multiplier. This reel is engraved on the front hard rubber plate with"ABBEY& IMBRIE" But only IMBRIE is readable. This reel has a hard rubber front and rear body in poor to fair condition. There are chips on both the front and rear hard rubber plates inside adjacent to the spool edge. Plus a small crack next to the top pillar on the rear hard rubber plate. The spool, pillars, and foot are nickel plated brass. The spool is in very good condition. The pillars and foot are in poor to fair condition. The top pillar has a slight bow downward. The foot has numerous marks and dents indicating it was straightened. The handle knob appears to be hard rubber. There is a clicker controlled by a slide button on the rear plate. It is in good ... moreworking condition and fair overall condition with the exception of the chips noted in the hard rubber. Based on the foot having a center hole and the use of a spring type washer on the rear cap it is likely that Julius vom Hofe could be the manufacturer, as he did make reels for Abbey& Imbrie. Just speculation. It measures 1-3/4" diameter. 3-1/8" deep including the handle, and has a foot measuring 2-7/16" long by 9/16" wide. On the bottom of the foot it is inscribed with the number"206 c" With the letter c underlined. Between the two screws on the bottom of the front where the foot is attached there is inscribed"35" It weighs 4.9 ounces, with packaging it will ship at 10 ounces. Orvis CFO III fly reel with extra spool. This was made in England by Hardy Bros. in the 1970's. Both spools are loaded with 5 weight line. One floating, one intermediate. Classic rivet-back design. No dents or cracks, some minor scratches and paint loss. Excellent working condition, smooth action, great clicking sound. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. ~ Vintage 2.5" Brass Fly Fishing Reel ~ Malloch ~ Slater ~ Hardy Birmingham Style ~ This 2.5" reel is all brass and has a perforated and waisted foot. Which is a feature not often seen. The revolving plate is nicely sculpted and the knob is of beautifully polished horn. The click is strong, the foot is unaltered and the reel retains a generous amount of its original bronzing. Circa 1890. Possibly by Malloch or Slater. Very similar in looks and construction to a Hardy Birmingham reel. A very well made reel in excellent condition. Vintage Olympic 470 Fly Reel in good condition. 6-7 Weight reel. I am not sure what weight fly line is installed but it might be over 30 years old. Reel is currently set up as Right hand retrieve. THIS APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION WITH THE NORMAL BLEMISHES FROM USE GOOGLE RESEARCH"Revelation" was a name that Western Auto used for their Firearm Line. They probably just carried it over with Fishing Reels and other sporting goods they sold. I do know for sure that Western Auto got reels from HI(Horrocks Ibbotsen) and one or two of their automatic fly reels under the Revelation Brand. Are identical to a few in the HI series. I have all the models written down somewhere. If anyone wants them, I'll dig them out and see if I can tie each model to a picture. Posted with
