The Tripart in the model name refers to the fact that the reel can be disassembled by unscrewing the left-hand and right-hand sideplates without the use of tools. The reel operates smoothly. Here is a very nice vintage fishing reel weighing 21 ounces. And I've tried to show the condition in the photos. There is some dust and oily residue in the crevices, and I see no rust. It operates very smoothly, and all of the controls appear to work(although I do not fish, so I can't test it adequately) The only markings I can see are"250" on the bottom and"GREASE" at the grease port; I suspect the manufacturer's emblem was in the recessed circle seen on the handle side.
