For sale is an E.M Winston Soprano Saxophone. This is the GL-350 soprano saxophone and the auction includes the saxophone and a mouthpiece. It does not include any reeds. Included as well is it's original hard case. As seen in the last two pictures. This is a wonderful instrument and would be an excellent addition for you. However please note that it does need some work: The G sharp key is bent. Causing the pad to not cover the hole. This causes the saxophone to naturally play G sharp instead of a G. The low C sharp key is very loose and the bar on which it is attached is bent and very loose. The low B flat key is very loose and does not completely cover the holes near the bottom of the saxophone when it is played. The low B flat key is also detachable from the low C sharp key because of the C sharp key being bent. Basically the 4 keys ... moreused to play lower notes and G sharps don't quite work properly. Vintage R.L. Winston Bamboo Surf Casting Rod 12 feet. Specially Made#801(see pictures) Looks like it was never used, ABSOLUTELY Beautiful Rod. Perfect Condition. 2 pieces, 6 ft each that are completely straight. The bamboo at the base of the rod is over 5/8 of an inch thick. The wraps and the finish on this rod are pristine. As you know R.L. Winston makes bamboo fly rods, but upon special request they made custom rods for customers. This could conceivably be a"one-of-a-kind" rod. The rod says"12 feet Fishfinder" see picture) it also says"Spc#801" which I assume means Special 801. Based on the guides, this is a casting rod, not a spinning rod. World War 2 Vintage Sir Winston Churchill Books Their Finest Hour Grand Alliance Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill was born November 30. 1874 in Woodstock, Oxfordshire England to aristocracy ans was descendant of the Dukes of Marlborough, a branch of the Spencer family. He married Clementine Hozier in 1908 and had 5 children. He had a lengthy political career spanning 2 centuries, from 1895 to 1924 with the exception of 1901. He was Prime Minister of England from 1940 to 1945 and again in 1951 to 1955. From 1945 to 1951 he was the leader of the opposition. He died on January 24, 1965 not quite 2 months after his 90th birthday. Their finest Hour was published by Houghton Mifflin Company in 1949 and The Grand Allegiance was published by the same company in 1951. Both books chronicle different periods in the Second world war. 1965 British Winston Churchill Commemorative Crown Five Shillings UNC With Case
1965 Elizabeth II Churchill Commemorative Crown Uncirculated This was an iconic coin struck for arguably the most charismatic British statesman of all time. Certainly without rival in modern history. He died in January 1965 and such was the mark of respect for this great man, it was only seven weeks later that the announcement of these commemorative crowns was made. This was only the fifth ever commemorative c rown to be issued in the UK and never before had the image of a commoner appeared on any coin that also portrayed the monarch. So it was a first in that respect. The rather controversial portrait of Churchill was designed by Oscar Nemon. A favourite sculptor of Sir Winston, who was himself an artist of some note. The final draft was considered by some to be rather a sombre portrait. However, if compared with contemporary photographs ... morethere is no denying it is a very lifelike image, uncompromising in its portrayal of the elderly statesman. I hope I have managed to capture the essence in my photograph of the coin, not an easy task as it is not a very deeply struck coin. Lady Churchill started the minting of the first of the coins in September 1965 and such was the demand. It continued to be produced in large numbers until the following summer. The obverse portrays the familiar Mary Gillick image of the Queen with the usual inscription, the date 1965 and although there is no denomination marked anywhere on the coin, it was originally worth five shillings in the pre-decimal days of 1965-67, still has a face value of 25 pence and is still legal tender today. This example. However has a premium to that value because it has been well looked after in its protective case, and of course, has an uncirculated lustre to it. Plays well good student starter we have an EM Winston Boston clarinet. EM Winston is the house brand for Raybun Music one of the big rental comanies- so they are pretty reliable as far as an import. They are free blowing and have good ease of play for a student many schools use them- we are selling as is I put in a new MP and tested it plays fine- there is a good case but it was marked with white out can be covered or scrubbed off- Or gone over with black marker which is what I would do- taken in on a trade, so a great bargain for some lucky bidder. MORE ABOUT WINSTON: Winston(1937–1957) a chestnut gelding ridden by both King George VI in 1947 and Queen Elizabeth II in the Trooping the Colour ceremony from 1949 to 1956. Winston whose sire was Erehwemos, was foaled in Yorkshire in 1937. In 1944 he was sold to the Mounted Branch of the Metropolitan Police Service.Though ... morenamed for Winston Churchill, the letter"W" was used to name all police horses in 1944. As a police horse, Winston often was present on duty at public events such as the Changing of the Guard before he was selected for Royal duties. IN 1947, Winston carried King George VI during the first Trooping of the Colour to take place since 1939. Winston participated in various roles in other Royal ceremonial events when not working as a police horse. From 1949-1951, then Princess Elizabeth took her father's place at the ceremony becoming the first British Queen since Elizabeth I to review her troops on horseback. Though other police horse were made available, the Queen always preferred Winston. The year of 1951 led to the future Queen first wearing her red Guards uniform; prior to this she wore a blue uniform. During the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II procession, Winston was ridden by Sir John Nott-Bower, the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. RARE VOX Winston V419 JBL D130 375 Hartsfield Lns
Pair of EXTREMELY RARE VOX Winston V419 PA Cabinets loaded with a pair of JBL D130's a JBL 375 with Hartsfield Horn and Gold Lens and N1200 Crossover. This is the stock configuration. These speakers are very rare and I do not know how long Vox had them available. There is very little information about them on the web. Sonically the speakers sound great and are all in good working condition. The 375's are original and have never been opened as a majority of the red seals are still present. one is missing the decal. The four D130's are also original to the cabinets and have the Vox decal over the JBL Decals. One of the speakers has the original cone with the proper cone number 21057 the other 3 were reconned with JBL cones numbered 51057. Of the 3 that were reconned one was reconned on 8/7/87 and the other two were reconned on 9/4/87.
