EM Winston BBb Tuba (Yamaha ybb-105 copy), the "bill clinton tuba"
Great sounding E.M. Winston BBb tuba(EM Winston is famous for making Bill Clinton's custom saxophone) Here's a bit on EM Winston: The valves are unique in that there's a rod that goes from the top cap into the piston. Rather than the usual valve guide. This eliminates the need for a groove inside the valve casing, gives the valves a bit of angular freedom and eliminates valve guide noise- but what I suspect EM Winston was doing is trying to avoid a lawsuit from Yamaha for basing this tuba on the YBB105. For a small tuba. This 3/4 tuba sounds like a much larger tuba, probably due to the large/wide bell cone, saving a lot of weight by not making the whole tuba large early on. Tone production is very efficient and resonant. Cosmetics: Most of the lacquer finish is intact(however all the dent removal does not help the appearance) ... moreDings. Scratches and dents throughout- Evidence of dent removal. Especially on the bell. Despite this. The tuba still looks better than many older tubas with worn lacquer.

EM Winston Bb trumpet
Up for bid is a very clean EM Winston Boston Bb trumpet. I purchase this horn for my son and he chose to play alto sax instead. Both the horn and case are in excellent condition. The finish on the bell just below the engraving is marred. I tried to show it in the second picture. But it is too faint to photograph. The trumpet plays very well, is a medium bore, and has very little playing time(mostly mine) All Slides, valves, and caps move easily. This is a beautiful horn and will serve any begining or intermediate player for years to come. I have included a clean mouthpiece. The horn is ready to play straight out of the case.
