The largest 3 red are about 6 1/2 inches around. 2 are 5 1/2 inch around, 2 are 4 inch around, 1 at 3 1/4 inch, 1 is 4 3/4 inch, 1 is 3 inches long. The interior of the case has been relined due to some previous heavy stains. The exterior still shows a residual mark on the top lid from some decal that wouldn't come off completely. Serial number is 164507. There are a couple gouges and one chip as show in the pics. I don't see any other cracks. Etc. If you want. I will add a cork to the bottom of the thumb rest before sending it out. Mouthpiece(plastic) and ligature are used jobs that work but you will probably want to upgrade. I'm including a free reed. Selmer Cl 220 wood clarinet with gold keys. is of the Solist line and design, extremely rare piece, and, a very good value. Just had a full hygienic repad, unit disassembled oiled etc. Plays well! These are near impossible to find. Yes, it is the Solist design though it is the current, not vintage line. I will put this up against a Buffett E 11 any day of the week. These do not crack like the Buffets do. Which is why I do not carry Buffet. Gold Plating is excellent- this line is a top choice of educators- very free blowing light weight unit with adjustable thumb test. The Selmer 220 is a Selmer 210 with gold plated keys and rings instead of standard silver. New these retailed for $3000.00. This is a collector item and in the Selmer Solist style. And a wonderfully easy horn to play. Selmer Signet 100 wooden clarinet. Fully reconditioned with premium double bladder pads and new corks. No cracks. Wood in good condition. Original case in decent condition but I might replace it as it is just old. This instrument was recently completely disassembled. Cleaned with wood soap, wood soaked in oil for three days, keys buffed and polished, repadded, recorked, adjusted and regulated, and play tested. I have two other intermediate wooden clarinets up for auction. They are Noblets. This is an old wooden box that was found in a house that my son bought. It has empty wooden spools and there are bottle corks under the spools. The box is 10H x 5H x 6W. It has as hinged lid that works fine. The front latch is missing. It is a really nice little piece. I debated on keeping it. But I have lots of the spools that belonged to my mother and grandmother. I need to get rid of things, not keep getting more. Anybody else with that problem? I thought I might find this nice little box a new home. The little box is well made; the corners are dove-tailed. If you look close. You can see it thru the old wax build up. There is also a picture of the bottom. I have not counted the spools, nor the corks. YAMAHA YCL 34(YCL 450) Bb WOOD CLARINET - NEW CORKS/PADS, READY TO PLAY!
This intermediate Yamaha YCL-34 wood clarinet(made in Japan) is band director approved and would be fine from beginner band through high school. This model is just an older version of Yamaha YCL-450 wooden clarinets and was made in Japan. The horn is just out of the shop after an overhaul by a professional woodwind repair technician. The complete overhaul included: taking the clarinet apart. Giving the body a thorough cleaning and sanitation, installing all new premium double bladder pads and replacing all corks, hand-polishing and straightening all rods and keys. Then, the springs were adjusted as necessary, keys installed and adjusted and the wood was oiled. This is a player's clarinet- it was well used(not abused) But still has plenty of life left in it. The grenadilla wood is beautiful with no cracks or repaired cracks. Light scratches ... moreon the body and scuffs on the bottom of the bell. There are also a couple of scratches on the lower joint and a small chip on one of the tenons(see photos) The nickel plated keys are in decent overall condition. But show wear in several spots and minor signs of corrosion(shown on the photos) The logos on the body are faded. But looking at it carefully, one can still make out the brand and the model. After the overhaul the clarinet was play tested in all keys by two professional players- plays wonderfully. Sonorous and with a beautiful tone, all pads seal well. It is easy to understand why it was well used by a previous owner, it has a magnificent sound and intonation! Included is the original hard case which is in excellent condion(it was cleaned and sanitized) Also included are a new Yamaha 4C mouthpiece. Ligature, cap and one new sealed reed. Don't waste money on buying the equivalent new model, this horn is the best step-up instrument money can buy, serviced and ready to play better than new.
