It is like a pateke philippe watch and comes with an original loop of the finest grade leather case with loop stamped on it and also has a pouch at the back. I have had this reel for 10 years. And have only seen one other sold in the past 10 years. This would be completely mint where it was not for 3 tiny micro pit paint loss. Pin head size on the drag face and insignificant rub on the seat where it has been held onto a rod, all in all it is the best example I have seen for sale and I have only seen two. Some people won't even notice this. As i grade glass i have a good eye. On leather case the Loop emblem is partially rubbed. My father has two of these reel cases and they are all the same. The reel is on silent mode at the moment. It got a service through James at john norris at Penrith 4 years ago, where it was sent to the factory in sweden, just for a refreshment(oiling and servicing etc) I put on a floating spey line at a cost of £140 and it has been wetted once. Fishing reels. Vintage. Lot includes 2 spinning, 1 casting, and 2 fly fishing.
Five different vintage fishing reels plus a leather Heddon reel carrying case and a vintage reel box for a Shakespeare 1946M Service level Winding Reel. All five reels are in fair shape but have had better days. Spinning reels are a Garcia Abu-matic 170 made in Sweden. Reel does not work(won't crank in line) and a Heddon#150. This reel is missing the spool cover but does work. The one casting reel is a South Bend#300"anti-bacl lash" model D. This reel works fine. Needs a little WD-40. Lot has two fly fishing reels.one is a Southbend"oren-o-matic" balanced reel#1130 model D. This is a nice looking reel but doesn't work the way it should. Last is a fly fishing reel that I think is a H-I made in New York. Not sure as to make as there is no markings on it. This reel too needs work. As I said. 2 vintage skeleton fly reels for parts or to fix. No brand. Both are marked Japan on underside of foot. One has another marking above where it says Japan but I am not sure if it is a maker's name or what it says. This one also has a"B" stamped below where it reads Japan. Both reels are same size(approx. 2 1/2" in dia. Reels both get stuck mid crank, and both have clicker issues. There is also finish loss and overall wear. One of the reels has a loose inner post. 2 fly fishing reels and box of lures in as found condition. The D.A.M fly reel looks in good condition and is made in West Germany. The ratchet does not work- the reel has line on it and it turns over smoothly and the other knob on the back seems to work as a brake. The Leeda reel made in Britain turns over smoothly but the ratchet is on all the time however you turn the knob. It also has line on it. The box is marked"Fly Box" and is made of aluminium. Fly Fishing reels and Spools
This is an assortment of used reels and spools. All are small fly reels suitable for 2-5wt lines. I have an Elite Fly Reel with 6 spools. One spool has a 2wt. One has a 3wt, and one has a 4wt line. Lines have very little use. The other spools come with backing. I have two Battenkill spools with lines and one reel cover. I do not have the reel or know the model number. They are several years old. I also have a Scientific Angler System 2 67-L with 6wt sink tip line. Total weight is 3-4 lbs.

Direct from My Grandfather's ancient tackle box here is a very nice assortment of Fly fishing flies and 2 reels. There are right around 50 flies. Now. I don't know anything about the diferent kinds of flies, or if he made these himself or bought them, but they're all tiny and different. They come in an old small film cannister. You also get 2 reels. They both have line in them, but I can't vouch for if they work or not, though I don't think he would have kept them if they didn't work. The blue one is a Martin, automatic Mohawk 8A, the slightly rusty metal colored one is a Pflueger( No. 775 with a bulldog ingrained on it.

Two antique Fly Fishing Reels. Meisselbach Expert& Union Hardware 7115S One reel is a Meisselbach Expert. Estimate it was manufactured before 1905. Only markings on the reel are EXPERT on the top bridge. Following the history of the Meisselbach Expert reel it appears to be Nickle plated brass. Reel is in rough shape. Not sure if complete or not. Reel needs a good cleaning and inspection to free up and see if restorable. Good wall hanger. Maybe parts reel. Second reel is a Union Hardware fly reel. Reel was manufactured in Torrington Connecticut. Reel has markings on backside but very difficult to read. Reel has not been cleaned or polished. Last digits of model number are.115S. Difficult to read due to the patina of the steel construction. Reel looks to be fully functional. Reel looks to be complete. Can't figure out if there is any ... morekind of drag adjustment. 14 Vintage Fly Fishing Reels 14 Vintage Fly Fishing Reels. Most of these reels have something wrong with them. So we will list each one and describe it's condition& defects. Some reels have line, but we don't know what brand they are or their specs. Please refer to the photo's for further cosmetic condition details. From left to right, starting at the top left: Pflueger Sal-Trout No. 1554 USA. Mechanically this reel is sound with an undamaged clicker gear and a spool that does not rub. The reel has click/free-wheel modes& switches between the two OK. It has some corrosion on the hardware and spool and loss of finish on the housing. Aluminum spool and housing. Bakelite crank knob spins on it's shaft. Edwards Mfg. Co. of Chicago No. 40 reel. The housing has a couple of bends. But the spool does not rub. Undamaged clicker ... moregear. No free-wheel mode- click only. The spool retainer screw is stripped, but it tightens down ok- there is no wobble to the spool. Aluminum housing& spool has wear, scratches and light corrosion. Aluminum crank knob does not spin on it's shaft. This reel is marked on the white plastic hub on the back: 3-Square Symbol) BOEHOXOT N-1- there are no other markings on this reel. Aluminum spool and housing with loss of finish& spool rubs a little. Has click/no click and drag& they all work. The clicker gear and striker are worn. But the reel clicks ok. There is a tiny rusted forcing screw on the center of the spool hub that is used to remove the spool. Reel crank knobs are bakelite and spin OK. H-I 1855 Reel. Marked"Japan" on reel seat. Aluminum housing& spool. Has click/no click and switches between the two ok. But clicker gear is worn out and it barely clicks in click mode. Wilby Reel. All aluminum with steel reel seat. Has a stamped-steel clicker gear that while quiet. Has an odd feel. No free-wheel mode and the spool rubs a little. Bristol No. 66 Reel. This would be a decent reel. But the click/no click spring is broken and it only has click mod

Three Older Fly Fishing Reels Heddon, Martin and Bronson
For auction three old fly fishing reels from my late father's collection. I don't know how these reels work. But they do have old line them and the Heddon and Martin rotate when levers pulled? I don't know if these reels still used today or if they are collectors items or maybe someone may want them for nostalgic reasons. The brown reel is a Heddon Automatic Free-Stripping, James Heddon's Sons, Dowagiac, Mich. The green reel is a Bronson Royalmatic 390. So I hope the pictures will help you better then my descriptions. 2 of the reels are Shakespear 1905 Deuce, FA Model and HE Model. 2 are Fly Fishing Reels. I see no names or markings on these. The fifth reel is one I found after I took the pictures, so there is not a picture of this one. But it is a South Bend No. 450B. I see on this one, the center spool that the line winds up on,has a crack on one side. All 5 reels need cleaning, but they all are in decent shape and all seem to operate like they should. I also found an old original Shakespeare box for one of the 1905 Deuce reels that go with everything. I ask that you please look over my pictures very closely. I have this lot of vintage fishing stuff up for auction. The contents and condition is as follows: 2- Rotary Bait boxes that you wear on your belt. Both are in good working conditon. One has the BOB BET BAIT BOX label on it but the other box is missing the label. Only one small dent in the label but no other dents on either box. A few scratches from normal use. The box with the label is very nice for it's age. 4- Vintage jig sticks. These have been around a long time and have a great patina to them. 10- Vintage fishing lures or various brands. Vintage 1960's Fly Fishing Tackle Box & Reels **Frozen In Time - Untouched**
Up for auction is this vintage Fly Fishing Tackle Satchel with all original tackle. Flies and 4 Shakespeare reels. This box is exactly how I found it, l cleaned the dust from the exterior and obviously took everything out to take pictures and then put everything back. This auction is for everything you see in the pics and is from the 1960's era. All the flies are made of wood/cork, some are in great shape and some show signs of use. I have no idea if the Shakespeare Silent Tru-Art reels are in working order or not, they show signs of use, there are two(2) 1538GD models and two(2) 1837GB models, four(4) reels in total. As noted everything is as how I found it, there are nail clippers I am assuming for trimming the flies and a nail file for sharpening the hooks I'm guessing, or this particular fisherman was worried about his nails while ... morefishing, I am not sure. This fishing vest belonged to my Father in Law. He was quite a fisherman. As evidenced by the pictures on his walls. This vest is used, no doubt. many hours were spent in it while fishing all over the United States, and it's probably the most functional fishing vest I've ever seen. Size- L" First. There's a hemostat on a retractable line attached to the front- easy to get to when working on flies in the trout boat. There's a retractable Orvis ring on the back as well to hang things on. As well as a zipper pouch. The left shoulder has a patch of fleece to hold your flies. As well as a home fashioned rubber lined-dual sided leather covered flap for your line. In the pockets: 2 Perrine#97 fly cases LOADED with flies(see pics) 1 Perrine#69 fly case. Magnetic inside top lid- loaded as well(see pic) In addition. There are 3 ... moreplastic cases with about 12 flies each(see pics) There's a Phlueger Medalist Reel. With an extra spool(see pics- note the measurements marked on the side.
