The capacities can be found on the Ross website. This is a post 1998 manufacture and style. There are light scratches around the edges, but overall it's not all that bad. No real damage other than cosmetics. I tried to take pics of all the scratches. Foot is fine. Drag works and tightens/loosens progressively. It is stored with the drag released. Currently set up for left hand retrieve, but is easily converted to right had retrieve if you so desire. There is no backing, no line, no case, no pouch, just the reel. Great reel to use and not feel bad about laying down on a rock or stream side. Payment and shipping terms: Paypal only. Or cash on pick-up. This USA made Colorado 3 and two extra spools are in excellent. Not perfect, condition. There are rim nicks on two of the three spools, and a small area of dark"rash" on the back of the reel body. Also, my name is monogrammed(not engraved) on the body. None of these issues effects the performance of the reel. Reversible, click/pawl drag with heavy duty spring installed. Meticulously maintained. Includes backing and three lines, see photos. The Stillwater and sinking lines are essentially brand new, the floating line used about 25 times. Felt sacks included. It’s a good pedal and is used by many professional musicians. There are a few obsessive compulsive tone addicts out there(like me) who have noticed a few issues: It’s a little on the harsh side. It could use a little more clarity. It lacks fullness and warmth. This pedal suffers from low end roll off.maybe that's the way they wanted it. But I like my low end. Ross Rhythm 3.5 with extra spool
Up for auction is my Ross Rhythm 3.5 for line weights 6-8. An incredible reel for the value and one of my absolute personal favorites. Unfortunately this is a discontinued model. I personally think if companies keep a good thing going while in pursuit of cutting edge flare. This should be one of those products. The Rhythm is suitable for fresh or saltwater use and a bomber drag system with little to zero start up friction and in my opinion, the pinnacle of what Ross designed as a simple yet killer drag system. I fished this reel for a few years on my 6 weight S3 streamer rod and could not be happier. I am listing this reel after much careful thought but must to make wiggle room in my pocket book for other gear. The 3.5 balances a rod perfectly. The spare spool has never been used and comes loaded with 20lb. backing. I no longer have the original ... morebox for the reel and spool but do have one neoprene case. As you can see in the photos, there are very slight signs of wear to the reel body but i consider the package to be in excellent condition as I take very good care of my gear. Ross Evolution LT Green 1.5 with SA Sharkskin Line
Latest model Ross Evolution L t in size 1.5 in green anodize. Purchased last winter and o nly used for this trip. I purcha sed the reel on line for a deal that included a good quality line. I upgraded to the Scientific Anglers Sharkskin line for an additional $40.00. The total cost was $325.00 last year. I've never fished anything close to the casting ability of this line. Read about it before you buy. Some reports say it makes a different sound as it passes through the eyes. I'm 75 and probably couldn't hear any way. I lost the original Ross ca se so I just bought a ne w generic one as a replacement.

With 1 notable rust spot near where the brake line meet the back brake on the frame. When we received the bike, there was surface rust that we we're successfully able to remove most of. But you can see some of the evidence of on the frame and fender. Overall it is really not noticeable and in my opinion acceptable for the age. This is not in show quality condition but definitely usable and ready to go with years of use ahead, or it could be touched up and restored natural condition with what I would assume to be little effort. After purchasing a 26' Dirt jumper. I have outgrown this bike. This bike has been ridden maybe ten times since I purchased it from the original owner. It has never been abused or thrown, however it does have some signs of wear and tear. The handle bars have some pretty deep scratches(pictured) from the previous owner, however the rest of the frame is very clean with a few chips here and there, but nothing close to as big or deep as the handle bars. I have tried to take pictures of the chips, but some are so small you can hardly see them in the pictures. The lens and shutter are mounted on a 10x9.2cm Linhof Technika metal plate. The mount is a bayonet type but it does not lock into place– this results in movement of the lens/shutter assembly when adjusting the shutter settings(cocking and firing the shutter can be achieved without moving the assembly) The lens optics are crystal clear but there are some tiny internal dust specks. Also. The front lens has some very fine surface scratches which can only be clearly seen with the aid of a magnifying glass. The serial number of the lens is 1098. Both the aperture blades and the shutter blades of the Compur shutter are clean. The figures on the aperture dial are somewhat ... morerubbed but are still clearly distinguishable(4.5.5.6,8,11,16,22,32) The aperture blades open and close smoothly and the shutter blades work crisply at all shutter speeds. The shutter speeds appear to operate proportionately(accuracy has not been checked) The T and B settings operate correctly. It should. However, be noted that, when the shutter speed selector ring is turned, this often results in some movement of the black inner ring(on which the triangular shutter speed indicator is found) This is a self timer version of the Compur shutter. But the mechanism which operates the self timer button is broken. Please note that this does not affect the ordinary use of the shutter. Cosmetically. Brass Sextant by ROSS of London measures 4" x 4" x 2" Comes in lovely hard wood case. A sextant is an instrument used to measure the angle between any two visible objects. Its primary use is to determine the angle between a celestial object and the horizon which is known as the object's altitude. Making this measurement is known as sighting the object. Or taking a sight and it is an essential part of celestial navigation. The angle. And the time when it was measured, can be used to calculate a position line on a nautical or aeronautical chart. Common uses of the sextant include sighting the sun at solar noon and sighting Polaris(the'North Star' at night, to find one's latitude(in northern latitudes) A sextant can also be held horizontally to measure the angle between any two landmarks which allows for calculation ... moreof a position on a chart. A sextant can also be used to measure the lunar distance between the moon and another celestial object(e.g. star, planet) in order to determine'Greenwich Time' which is important because it can then be used to determine the longitude of your position. Sir Isaac Newton(1643–1727) invented the principle of the"doubly reflecting navigation instrument"But never published it. Two men independently developed the octant around 1730: JOhn Hadley(1682–1744) an English mathematician, and Thomas Godfrey(1704–1749) a glazier in Philadelphia. John Bird made the first sextant in 1757. The octant and later the sextant, replaced the Davis quadrant as the main instrument for navigation. Most sextants are quite large instruments. Too large for decorative display. Small'pocket' instruments like this one make a great nautical display piece although their accuracy for navigation is reduced by the physical size. The silvering on the half mirrored glass of this item has been worn and the eyepiece is a little cloudy(a careful clean would probably help) but it is quite possible to demonstrate the method of operation.
