In wonderful original condition.showing only very fine scratches as evidence of gentle use. Antique sterling silver macaroni server. 4 Troy Ounces, 2 dwt. marked"Sterling" attributed to Whiting Mfg. Co. on basis of exact Lily Pattern of 1902. Up for bid is this beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Tray. It measures roughly 12 inches by 9 inches by about 1.5 inches at its tallest. I researched the hallmark and I believe it was made by the Whiting Silver Company. Not sure of the age but it came from a nice Hamptons Estate of an old family. Monogram features' MBR' I am not an expert on Antique Sterling but it seems most buyers are interested in good photos and the weight. I took it to the Post Office to have it weighed and it came out to about 385 grams total weight. As far as condition. It appears to be in nice condition overall with no dents or damage that I could see. It could use a real polish as it only had a quick going over for the photos. Whiting Mfg. Co. Sterling Silver Teaspoon 1909 Madam Jumel Pattern
Up for auction is this Vintage Whiting MFG Co. sterling silver teaspoon in the 1909 Madam Jumel pattern. There is a monogram of a letter"S" on the end. Obverse side of the spoon. It weighs approximately 25.73 grams and measures 5 7/8 inches in length. The spoon is in great shape but it does have some wear marks so it needs to be polished. This piece would make a great addition to your silver collection or even with your serving items. I do have one piece without the monogram.
