I believe this is the Pro II model. Which came out in the ... moremid 1980’s. It has the word“Thompson” stamped on the closing lever tab at the end. This also has a homemade wire lead arm that was with it which isn’t original to the vise but I am including it as it is still useful. This vise is heavy and sturdy; the base is weighted and has a cork covered bottom. Condition of the vise is used. Very good. There is some very light rust showing on the knurled areas of the vise, and some small spots on the closing tab. A few faint scratches in places. It opens and closes smoothly and there are no dents or broken areas. Small spot of tape on the bottom. Buyer to pay for choice of either USPS Priority or Parcel Post shipping. Here are 3 vintage fly tying vises. They have a little rust on the unpainted parts. But should cleanup with some scotchbrite. Been going thru my dads stuff and we don't fish. There is a Universal 2, It tightens up and when you pull the side know you can rotate the vise. It is missing the pad on the table clamp. There is a D.H. Thompson with a spare vise section. The spare one has a shorter chrome body, but a larger clamp at the end. Last is a Herters#3, it also is missing the table clamp pad. Please ask any questions.

First Edition Hardback. Signed. An exhaustive study of nymphs with a western flair. Great info and patterns. Please be aware that this book has been owned by an avid fly tyer and cigar smoker. And the books are stored where the cigars are smoked. So keep that in mind as you bid. My friends who borrow books say that the smell wears off in about a week. And you can read them in comfort at that time. They usually read them in dis-comfort before then. The grading is severe, I would rather you be surprised that the book is higher quality than you expected, than reverse. All are used books- I bought them to use. Not abuse, but to use.
