Glen Echo has 11 self-contained clean, modern housekeeping cottages on 19+ acres of prime waterfront property located on the South Shore of beautiful Lake Nipissing. Glen Echo has one of the most sheltered locations on the lake. We offer a private, quiet location and yet we are a mere 15 minutes away from the City of North Bay with all the amenities of a large city. We are located just 3 hours north of Toronto.
Fishing Lake Nipissing :
At Glen Echo we take pride in offering "The Best Fleet of Boats" on Lake Nipissing. We believe that your fishing experience is directly related to the quality of the boat and motor you have at your disposal. Our 16' Lund boats come equipped with a new 30 H.P. Mercury electric start motor, raised casting platform, 3 swivel seats, fishfinder, livewell, bilge pump and running lights. We also have two upgraded boats to choose from. Lake Nipissing offers a great variety of fish species for the sports fishermen: Walleye/Pickerel, (Walleye & Pike season opens the 3rd Saturday in May) Smallmouth Bass, (NEW - Bass season opens the 3rd Saturday in June) Northern Pike, Muskie, (Muskie season opens the 3rd Saturday in June) Perch and Whitefish.

For those seeking a traditional ice fishing experience our four bedroom cottage is winterized. It features a woodburning fireplace, 32" LCD flat screen satellite T.V., fully equipped kitchen, 4 piece washroom and a propane BBQ. We'll transport you to and from our day hut which is clean, warm and well equipped.
