Located on the South Shore of Lake Nipissing is our well-kept secret that offers quiet nature at it’s best. Friendly surroundings and warm hospitality are guaranteed to make a vacation with us a pleasant memory for years to come. Boasting unparalleled scenery with a different breath-taking sunset every evening, a beautiful beach, clean fresh-water lake for even the youngest of swimmers, and an abundance of wildlife and terrific fishing, we offer a relaxed vacation destination for all ages.

All of our cottages are two bedroom but vary in size and number of available beds. Rates are based on 4-person occupancy or single family per unit. No pets please. Minimum 3 day stay.

Contrary to popular belief, the North is not derivative of freezing cold. There is no better scenery than the North during the winter months. Especially if you're ice fishing!! The ... morecomradarie alone is enough to bring people outdoors to experience Lake Nipissing in the throws of winter.
The best fish to catch during the winter months are the walleye, perch, pike, whitefish, ling and herring. We place our huts on a 25' - 40' shoal and move them according to where the fish are biting. The majority of fish our hole usually generates is walleye and perch but pike and other species are always in the vicinity.
Keeping you warm, cozy, and happy is our main objective so we do all the work. We drill the holes and heat the huts prior to you even leaving Your cottage. Using our safe, reliable "ice transit system", we transport you to our fishing hole, which is approximately 3.5 miles out on the lake, dropping you off at your nicely heated hut. The only decision you have to make is whether you'd like to fish inside or outside.
We try to accommodate all our guests to the best of our ability. Those wishing to go out at dawn may do so, or if your group wish to sleep in, that's possible too. However, the fish bite best at dawn and dusk. We also check on our guests regularly throughout the day to ensure bait is plentiful and your safety is secure.
Greening Bay Cottages offers various different ice fishing packages which consist of deluxe accommodations, transportation on and off the ice, and spacious propane heated ice huts. All ice fishing equipment is supplied and you are guaranteed never to run out of tip-ups. Although it is an extra charge, we have bait readily available and ensure you have plenty. For added comfort and convenience, we also supply a bbq and washroom facilities on the ice. After a day of fishing, your catch can be cleaned in our heated facilities. If you wish to venture into town, we will be happy to provide some suggestions.

If you don't know the lake and what abundance she provides, we can point you in the right direction to ensure you hit the latest "hot spots". We know where plenty of productive fishing holes exist to ensure the catch you're after.
Even if you've been fishing Nipissing for years, there's no denying the service we provide or the lengths we will go to ensure you enjoy your vacation and get the bites.
The spring fish opens every Canadian May long weekend. From mid-May to the end of June, it is amazing to see the number of boats coasting right in our bay. We have the hottest fishing hole for walleye and perch on the south shore of Nipissing. Our fishermen (and women) are happy, well fed, and return year after year for another go.
July and August are the months for bass. They may like the rocks, but we know what rocks they like and how to find them!!
The time for trophy fish such as muskie and pike, is during September and October. This sport is not for the impatient fisherman. If you want The challenge, it's out there and whether or not you're successful depends on how much you're willing to fight!!

We offer top-notch accommodations with boat and motor rentals. We have Nipissing Specials for the standard packages which include new 15 hp Yamaha motors, fish finders, guide maps, and safety equipment. If you wish to upgrade, we have the Crestliner Canadian with live fish wells or the Crestliner Pontoon available.
For those wishing to bring their own boats, we have a well-protected marina with plenty of dockage and ample space for launching. We are more than happy to accommodate your needs.
Our fish cleaning station is clean, enclosed, and convenient with both hydro and running water. We also have bait and tackle available.
