Up for auction is a Vintage Bank Type Sinker Mold#103 from C Palmer Mfg Inc in West Newton PA. It is from my father-in-law who was an avid lifetime fisherman and hunter. Sizes are 2.5. 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 and 7 ounces. Please see the pictures for the condition of the item. There is a hairline crack in one of the handles and when when the plates are together I can see a small sliver of light between the plates. I'm not sure if either of these identified issues would affect the production of the lead sinkers. Included is a 2 1/2 lb lead ingot! Thanks for looking! This is a great vintage lot for someone who wants to make their own fishing sinkers. It includes the following: 1 Melting Pot- 8" diameter. 4 3/4" tall& handle brings it to 9 1/2" used and rusty, but still feels solid 2 Ladles- 1 is 15 1/2" long. 3 3/4" tall& 4 1/2" diameter. The other is 15" long and 1 5/8" x 2 7/8" used and rusty, still feel solid. 1 Casting Mold with handles- has some pre-made sinkers and the numbers 535 and 605 on them. 2 Casting Mold plates- both are reversible. Having different shapes and sizes on each side. I'm sorry I do not know much about them such as brand and size. I just know they are old. I can't see that they are marked other than the one that says 535 and 605. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Lyman Lead Ingot Mold Sinker Fishing Weights etc
Top measurements are 6 5/8 x 3 ¼” It slants inward with bottom measurements 5 ¾ x 2 ¾” It is 1 1/8” high and has small handle/lip on side coming out about 5/8” All measurements are approximate. It is divided into four sections. In the bottom of each is raised LYMAN spelled backwards so that when lead was molded it came out correctly. Purchased from an old collector who had gone over the lettering with gold paint to highlight the name and used it in a display. We read that these ingots were used often as sinkers as well as other things. No cracks or damage.

Sport No.2 pat applied for mold measuring 4 1/4" x 3" Makes 5 sinkers per pour~( 1/2 oz. 1 oz, 2 oz. 3 oz and 4 oz) The second mold is made by Do-it Industries 3624 Logan ave Waterloo, Iowa measures 10 1/2" x 2 3/8" Makes two large bell sinkers per pouring( 8 1/2" oz& 5 1/2" oz) Both Molds are still in excellent condition. This auction is for three(3) vintage Herter's 4F3 Fishing Sinker Molds and a well-worn lead ladle. These items were found in the garage of my deceased father-in-law who fished for many decades in Florida and always made his own lead sinkers. These molds and the ladle are being sold as found/as is. I have made no attempt to clean them up. what you see is what I found. I have not used these molds and make no representations as to their usefulness. Lot of 3 Old Vintage Fishing Sinker Lead Molds Used Wood Ceramic Aluminum Up for sale is this lot of 3 old fishing sinker molds. I believe they are made from ceramic. Aluminum, and then wood and maybe iron. They are all in good shape and could used again to make sinkers or else they would make a great addition to your collection of old fishing gear. The ceramic mold measures 5-1/4" x 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" and the sinkers would be 2" long. The wood and metal mold measures 7-3/4" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" and the sinkers would be 2" long.
