One, Two & Three Bedroom Accomodations
All of our 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages are lakefront with air conditioning and satellite TV. Rates are per cottage and include one boat ... morewith 15 hp motor. Free use of kayaks, paddleboats, water slide, and all recreational activities. Each cottage has its own firepit with firewood supplied.
Open Concept Accomodation
Our “new” open concept is a large housekeeping unit. It is fully equipped including air conditioning and satellite TV. Rate includes one boat with 15 hp motor. Free use of kayaks, paddleboats, waterslide, and all recreational activities. Fire pit and firewood supplied.
Executive Cottages
We offer two newly rennovated executive, luxury cottages. They are inviting and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. They each have their own private dock with barbeques and outdoor furniture. They overlook the water.

Monthly rentals will be available based on cottage availability and our discretion. Tax is not charged on monthly rentals.
A $600.00 deposit is required for confirmation of reservation for monthly rental.
There are no refunds on deposit without 60 days notice of cancellation.
Deposit is subject to $25.00 administration fee.
No additional charge will apply to parents with dependent children.
Basic rates for cottages include accommodations for party size as listed.
During the months of May, June and September there is a 10% discount available to seniors 65 and over (on cottages only).
If you bring your own boat – launching and docking will be provided at no charge. One boat per cottage.
Additional boats will be charged $8.00 per day or $40.00 per week.
Hunting and fishing licenses are no longer available on site at Argyle Lake Lodge.
Hunting and fishing licenses can be purchased online through the Ministry of Natural Resources.
You can also purchase hunting and fishing licenses at authorized locations.
Hunting and fishing licenses are also available in Matachewan.

West Shiningtree Lake where we are located, has over 8 miles of water and more than 40 miles of shoreline. With dozens of islands, bays, and channels, this lake alone has ample fishing for most anglers, but in order to make your fishing vacation truly unique and memorable, we also keep boats on 12 other lakes. Our guests can literally fish a different lake each day of the week with the choice of fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Splake, Perch and Whitefish. All lakes in this area are on public land, but it is not uncommon to fish all day without seeing another boat. Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and all Trout seasons are open year round. Walleye season opens the third Saturday of May.

BEAR HUNTING

Our Bear Management Area consists of 80 square miles of wilderness, some areas rarely or never hunted. We begin baiting in early July and have about 70 active sites by the time the season opens.
The black bear population in this area continues to thrive. We do not believe in over hunting an area, rotating hunting grounds by seasons, thereby ensuring healthy population. We have sites suitable for archery, rifle, shotgun and muzzle loading hunters. For an additional cost, we offer the Fishing Package with the Bear Hunt.
