Moose hunting in the fall can be a very exciting time. We are on the boundary of two wildlife management units, 19 and 21A, so we can offer you some fantastic choices of areas to hunt very close to the resort. If you Moose Huntingwant to match wits with the Giants of the North with only your bow and calling device, you are in for some exciting times that you will never forget.
If you are a more traditional hunter, with rifle, then you too can have some great times. The archery season is open first, around the 20th of September. The rifle season opens the Saturday closest to the 8th of October. We have archery tags issued to us, some in WMU 19 and some in WMU 21A. We have no gun tags available at this time.
Hunters living outside of Ontario have to get a tag from us. Residents of Ontario can go into a lottery system to try and get their own tag. Whatever you decide, we have the moose and some prime areas to hunt them in. If you are new to this area, we can steer you to some productive areas.
