Here is my old Fishing Filet Knife I learned to fillet fish on in the 50s. It still has the original box. The leather sheath, instructions, and even a little fish smell. The knife is 11 1/4" long. Counting the blade and the handle. There are some scratches and rubs on the handle, and the blade needs cleaning and sharpening. But it is still firm in the handle, nice and straight, and no dings in the blade. It was made by Gaedke Aluminum Handle Cutlery. RADA MFG CO. Waverly, Iowa. The original decal is still on the bottom of the box. The box is intact. But dirty on all sides and the bottom after bouncing around in my tackle box for 50+ years. The leather case still has all the stitches and is solid. But has some well rubbed in dirt in it. The strap is still nice and strong if you want to put it on your belt. Even the instructions are there ... moreon how to put the knife in the sheath and how to fillet fish. The edges have been folded up several times. But it's there! I now use an electric knife 100% of the time. So hope to pass this great knife on to another person that would enjoy this quality fishing tool!

See picture# 1. I am not sure what the 1st 2 words are, but he rest reads Finland, hand ground stainless steel. The handle has the Rapala logo and registered trademark incised into the wood handle. I do not know how to measure the length of the knife so I am going to give you 2 measurements: ... more1. Length of the actual blade- 6.25" 2. Length including handle- 11" The knife is used, but appears to be in good shape. The sheath is actually in very good shape, including the belt loop hanger. There is very little wear shown. It also has the Rapala logo and registered mark. It is also incised with Marttiini, the Marttiini logo, and made in Finland. Please view the pictures to see for yourself. If you collect J.
