Vintage Sharp DF-60 11 Inch Fishing Fillet Knife W/ Leather Holster Belt Sheath: This is a beautiful vintage fishing filet knife. The craftsmanship is superb and blade is still very sharp with with almost no signs of use. The handle portion is 4.5 inches in Length& is made of wood which has been stained cherry color. The color has still maintained with very well with little to no fading. The wood can easily be touched up with Old English wood cleaner to bring the full color back but I prefer it just as is. The actual stainless steel blade measures 6 inches in length and is laser etched with the wording. Custom Crafted Sharp DF 60. The leather sheath is in very good condition for its age. The leather is dyed in a cherry brown color to match the handle. All stitching is intact as well as the button closure still snaps open& closed with ... moreease. The"Sharp" logo as well as the belt loop are like new. The previous owner really knew how to care for this piece. Measurements: 1.45 inches in H. 11 inches in L& 2.25 inches in D. Weighs about a pound& a half. Makes a great display knife or is a beautiful functioning knife perfect filleting your next catch. This knife is an 11" long fillet for fishing/hunting. It comes with a very nice leather sheath with a belt strap embossed with"BUCK" and"122" The 6-1/2" knife blade is marked"Buck 122 U.S.A. The handle is polished wood with finger grips and a hole for hanging. It came from the estate of an avid fisherman who took immaculate care of his gear. I know it's age is over 20 years. But it look nearly new to me. It may need sharpening, which I don't know how to tell. Overall a great knife.
