This is a RE- purposed vintage knife. What do I mean? Well. This knife is a vintage Hi carbon Steel, Kitchen/Butcher knife. I have a little knife grinding shop here at my farm where I take old knives and give them new purpose and life. This knife was, at one point a kitchen or a butcher type knife. The kind you would find in your Great Gramma's kitchen drawers. This knife is at least 40 years old and could be well over 100 years old.It has no makers mark, high carbon steel. There is a pic of what it looked like it the condition I got it in.the rest of the pics are what it is now. A very nice Fillet Knife. Loads of character. It even has an old burn scar on one side from its years in the kitchen. Gorgeous maple handle wood with a single coat of li seed oil for a finish. Razor sharp. This one really cleaned up nice. With a lot of re shaping ... moreof the handle and the blade.now its a pretty nice piece. the knife blank tapers from top to bottom in thehandle area and from back to front it goes from nice and thick to needle thin. This is a piece of American History ready for the next 100 years of use. I do not put a lot of finish time into my knives so they will come with sanding marks, and some grinding marks as well. Vintage Sharp DF-60 11 Inch Fishing Fillet Knife W/ Leather Holster Belt Sheath: This is a beautiful vintage fishing filet knife. The craftsmanship is superb and blade is still very sharp with with almost no signs of use. The handle portion is 4.5 inches in Length& is made of wood which has been stained cherry color. The color has still maintained with very well with little to no fading. The wood can easily be touched up with Old English wood cleaner to bring the full color back but I prefer it just as is. The actual stainless steel blade measures 6 inches in length and is laser etched with the wording. Custom Crafted Sharp DF 60. The leather sheath is in very good condition for its age. The leather is dyed in a cherry brown color to match the handle. All stitching is intact as well as the button closure still snaps open& closed with ... moreease. The"Sharp" logo as well as the belt loop are like new. The previous owner really knew how to care for this piece. Measurements: 1.45 inches in H. 11 inches in L& 2.25 inches in D. This is a vintage Parker Cut Company fillet knife. This was purchased at a Sears store in 1986 and basically sat in my tackle box since. Markings on the blade are:Parker Cut Co.Parker Professional Fillet,and Surgical Steel Japan. Knife is in great,rarely used shape. Nice straight blade with no nicks,chips,bend,etc. Hard rubber handle is in great shape as well showing only minor scuffs. Sheath shows good amount of scratches and scuffs but still very solid. This knife is used, but it has been well maintained. The wooden handle is in great shape with no chips or cracks. The hollow ground blade is straight. But it does show signs of sharpening. The knife slides easily into the sheath. The sheath is in good shape with no significant staining or water damage. There is a cut in the sheath where the knife was pushed through. This knife is an 11" long fillet for fishing/hunting. It comes with a very nice leather sheath with a belt strap embossed with"BUCK" and"122" The 6-1/2" knife blade is marked"Buck 122 U.S.A. The handle is polished wood with finger grips and a hole for hanging. It came from the estate of an avid fisherman who took immaculate care of his gear. I know it's age is over 20 years. But it look nearly new to me. It may need sharpening, which I don't know how to tell. Overall a great knife.

VINTAGE RAPALA 12' FILLET KNIFE
Nice knife in excellent condition but does have a couple small dark spots on the blade. Blade is otherwise perfect and is near razor sharp. This is my all time favorite fillet knife and these large ones can handle a fairly large fish with no problem. This one may have been made in the 60s or 70s and still has many years of reliable service left as it has hardly been used. US shipping $5.

Offered here is a vintage USA IMPERIAL 442F Frontier full tang fish fillet fixed blade knife with leather sheath. Overall length is approximately 10 1/2" and the blade is approximately 6" The blade is embossed on one side IMPERIAL STAINLESS FISH FILLET KNIFE U.S.A. and the tang on that side is stamped FRONTIER with a powder horn. The reverse side tang is stamped 442F IMPERIAL U.S.A. The blade has been used and shows scratches from use and sharpening. The blade is not chipped or otherwise damaged. The off white handles are held with 3 large pins and are tight and in good used condition. The sheath is brown leather. It has been used and shows some wear but the stitching and rivets are all intact. Overall in good used condition. Thank you for looking.
