We offer you a large variety of lakes supporting a number of different game fish species. Imagine the chance to fish your own private lake every day for seven days in a row - without sharing. Imagine the joy in watching a friend's face light up as they catch and release another large Northern Pike or catch a tasty Walleye for the dinner table. Smallmouth Bass weighing in at 2-4 lbs are a way of life at Lost Lake. Brook Trout can be found in several different lakes while Rainbow Trout are located in their very own walk-to havens. Many miles of old and new logging roads wind there way throughout our area, making it one of the best grouse hunting areas anywhere. Our forest consisting of Aspen, Spruce and Birch, ... moreis a prime natural habitat for grouse, producing our large population. Ruffed and Spruce Grouse are abundant throughout our area, so there is no need for you to hunt the same area as someone else. An ATV can get you deep into the forest quicker but they are not necessary as you can also use a truck to take you to your hunting area.
Upon arrival, getting settled in, we will suggest the best hunting area for you.
The best time of day to hunt is early morning and just before dusk -
leaving plenty of time to wet a line and enjoy some great fall fishing too

We begin scouting mid summer, always following the moose in their routines.
With the information we gather, we choose and suggest the best locations
to increase your success.
You’ll be hunting in the rut, a very vulnerable time for bulls while they are on the move seeking out cows. Calling is your best strategy to get these bulls in close for an
accurate shot. If you’d prefer a Guide to put you in the middle of active areas and call Bulls to you, a Guide is available for the week or by the day.
Because of the amount of meat that comes from one of these animals, most people
choose to hunt in a group. Hunting in a group will also increase your chances of success, so we have priced our packages geared toward a group of 4 hunters.

We here at Lost Lake take great pride in the success of your hunt. We take your hunt very seriously and your satisfaction in our services and your hunt is our main concern. We do our utmost to make sure you get your “Bear of a lifetime”. We cater to Bow Hunters as well as gun Hunters. Our newly constructed ladder stands offer an average of 20 – 25 yard shots. We limit the amount of hunters per week to six and we only run our Bear Hunt for 2 weeks. This ensures no over hunting and a healthy population of adult Black Bears for now and our future to come.

Comfort and scenery are two things you can expect when you stay at Lost Lake. All of our cottages are spread out along more than 1200 feet of shoreline, each with a unique and scenic ... moreview of beautiful Lost Lake. On arrival, you'll find your own personal boat docked at, or very near to your cottage, with your own personal dock. New docks have been constructed for the 2013 season for your safety and convenience.
The cottages are fully equipped and clean to ensure a comfortable stay. They all come tastefully decorated with 3 or 4 piece bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and satellite TV for your enjoyment.
While we don't supply towels and toiletries, the cottages do come with all bed linens, dishcloths and dish soap. Just outside your door you'll find fire pits and free firewood along with picnic tables and lawn chairs. Gas B-B-Qs are also available for our Housekeeping Guests

The "Stay Out Late Plan" is very popular. No need to choose between great fishing OR supper, now you can stay out late and your meal will be in your cottage when you're ready. Please let us know if you are staying late, we worry about you.

All boats, motors, canoes and row boats on remote lakes. The boats and motors are already there for you. Carry gas and personal gear using supplied wheel barrows. Very short walks of 3 to 5 minutes.
Shuttle service to two more lakes is available at no charge.
All minnows and worms are included plus landing nets, minnow buckets along with fish cradles for the Trophy Pike.
Guiding is done by map orientation to get you to the right spots at the right time. Maps are included.
All motorboats have padded swivel seats including remote lake boats.
