Enjoy your next family holiday at Martin's Camp located in the heart of the Loring-Restoule Vacation Land area! Situated
in Ontario's beautiful "Near North" tourist region, Martin's Camp is
set on the shores of Restoule Lake, just south of North Bay and Lake Nipissing.
Martin's Camp offers a choice of Housekeeping Cottages as well as Campsites.
Boat & Motor Rentals are available and you can purchase live bait for your
fishing pleasure along with Ice, Gas & Oil. There is also a
coin-operated washer and dryer on the premises for your convenience.
Your
family is sure to enjoy their summer vacation swimming or sunbathing on our
natural sand beach. The evenings bring gorgeous sunsets so get your camera
ready. If fishing is your fancy, enjoy the many species found in
our water - Bass, Pickerel, Muskie, Whitefish, Pike, and Lake Trout. We have Boats on several other lakes in the area so if you would like a change in pace,
book a Back Lake trip and take along your picnic basket.
In September, we run a Black Bear Hunt and enjoy many return hunters.
The Fall colours are breathtaking and thanksgiving weekend brings an end to the
season as the camp closes for the winter months.
We

FALL BLACK BEAR HUNT - 7 Day Hunt / 8 Day Accommodation: We have owned and operated Martin’s Camp since 1987
and are located just southwest of North Bay, Ontario…approximately 3 ½ ... morehrs.

We run a top quality Bear Hunt and limit the number
of hunters each fall to ensure a high hunter success rate plus maintaining a
good population of Black Bear in the area.
Each year We bait well in advance of the Fall Hunt maintaining over 30 Baits in our Bear Management Area (BMA)which is over 300 square kilometres. We run a Top Quality Bear Hunt and limit the number of hunters each fall.
We also retain baiting
schedules and are happy to share this information with interested bear hunters.
Other Information:
Fall Bear generally are heavier preparing
themselves for winter hibernation. In
the Fall of 2001, A 345 Pound Black Bear was shot and in 2006 a first time
hunter shot a 430 pound Bear. Last year all Bear taken were from 250 to 385 LBS. We have many repeat clients who pass many bears up
waiting for trophy animals.
Hunters are required to provide their own
transportation to and from the baits so bring ATVs or 4x4 Truck. By law you must have your ATV insured to ride on
crown land and area roads plus a helmet is required when riding your ATV.

our involvement in the Restoule & Area Walleye Association. Our Pickerel
fishing promises to be great for years to come. Numerous Lakes in our
area provide the angler with the opportunity for either a guided or unguided
trip into any of 8 different bodies of water. Martin's Camp rents boats
and motors on a daily or weekly basis or if you are bringing your own boat, Docking
is available at a very reasonable rate.

Martin's Camp offers the vacationer a choice of Twelve comfortable Housekeeping Cottages. They are equipped with Electric Heat and Private 3 or 4 piece Bathrooms. The Kitchens are ... morefully equipped with Electric Refrigerators and Stoves as well as all the Cutlery, Dishes, Pots and Pans and Coffee Makers. The 2 and 3 Bedroom Cottages are equipped with blankets and pillows - you supply the linen or rent it from us at a minimal charge.
The Cottages are of three different sizes:
Small Cottages : Cottage 3, 4, 5, 6
Medium Cottage : Cottage 10, 11
Large Cottage : Cottage 1, 2, 7, 8, 9
Cottage Information:
Small Cottages have 2 Bedroom and can occupy 1-4 Persons.
Medium Cottages also have 2 Bedrooms and can occupy 1-4 Persons.
Large Cottages have 3 Bedrooms except Cottage 1 which has 2 Bedrooms and can occupy 1-6 people.
