Bill is made of a rubber like material and is mounted on a faux wood grain plastic plaque. There is a name plate on the bottom front that says Big Mouth Billy Bass and there's a red button above the name plate. The singing can be activated either by pressing the red button or it can be turned to the"on" setting by the switch on the back and then it is motion activated by moving in front of the sensor on the the bottom of the name plate. Billy sings 2 different songs- Take Me to the River" and"Don't Worry Be Happy"and moves his head and tail when activated. The plaque can either be hung ... moreon the wall or you can display it on the built in stand that folds out on the back. It originally came with an a/c power adapter.
