The expert design and extra heavy lead make it very effective in deep water. Design prevents bait fish from gilling. I purchased this net in 2011 and used it two times. I never really. I got it to catch mullet at my Snell Island apartment in St. Petersburg and never really learned how to throw it properly. Not a fish was caught. The net is like new however the collar around the hold loop is starting to crack a bit from storage. please see pics) You could replace this easily if need be. This net retails at $159.00.
