The makers of this fine fishing pole should have been put on. But it is not. It is very well made, and is true and straight, no kinks and not broken. The cork portion, has got a few dings from use, please see pictures. When fully extended it is 59 inches long. The individual rod pieces are made of what looks like copper, the eye lets are also made of copper. The cap that the rod goes into is made of brass, the part that the fishing reel is attached to is made of aluminum. The whole thing is very durable, and I would not be afraid to use it with a light line for a small type of fish. The dollar bill is for size comparison, and is not sale with this auction.collapsible

Purchased at an old estate sale. From a former avid fly fisherman. I have not seen this style before. I cannot find a makers mark, but I believe it is an ORVIS North Fork model. Condition is excellent, and ready to use. It likely was used in the past, but is ready to go. The metal handle slides up or down, and securely locks into place the hoop and handle when extended. To close just pull the handle back and fold it back on itself. To open, pull the handle back, and it snaps into place. Measures 22" long when opened, x 8" wide. Net hoop is 13" x 8" The net is about 22.5" long. Net looks intact, I dont see any holes in it. When folded up it is 9.5" x 4" I will include the old military belt worn holder, it fits fine, and was found together like this.I do not think the holder is original to the net. Up for sale is my portable Collapsible Portable Spinning Reel and Telescoping Fishing Rod. This rod is just like new. In fact, I do not think it was ever used. We used to keep it in the car when we went out for a drive just in case we saw a good fishing spot. However, I do not think it was ever used so here is your chance to get a very handy light fishing rod that will not take up a lot of room in the car or back pack. Extended is about six feet long and when it is collapsed it is about 18 inches long. Included is the vinyl carrying case. The reel is included and there is some light fishing line on the reel already so all you need is your favorite lure and you are ready to go. I do not know the weight of the line on the reel but it is quite light so don’t go looking for a big shark etc. with this outfit, it is intended to be a light duty ... morehandy rig to take up a minimal amount of space. We had it stored in the trunk of our car so it was handy, however, that is up to you. Have a good time fishing this season. From an estate sale of fishing items and all were from the 30s& 40s. We offer this rare creel basket. In good condition, opens with ease, no missing parts and does show that it was used at one time. Two handles, metal hinge, and metal chains. Bamboo and fishing net. Measures about 13 by 6 inches folded up. 10 inch diameter when open. Not sure of the origin as there are no markings on the creel. Extendable brass handle screws onto net and extends net from 24 to 34 inches. Anglers typically used the shorter handle for stream bank fishing and would extend the handle for boat/canoe fishing. Condition is very good. No holes in net. Sets up and extends as designed. Gunmetal finish on brass handle shows minor scratches. Some wear to hard rubber grip commensurate with age. Metal handle slides up or down, and securely locks into place. Measures 22" long when opened, x 8" wide. Net is about 22.5" long. Net looks secure and intact, I dont see any holes. Vintage wire fish basket. Wire mesh creel with boat clamp: Basket and clamp assembly is approximately 26" high with 6 1/2" top and bottom hatches and 14" at widest ring. Hatches open inward. This belonged to my grandfather and I estimate it dates to about 1960. A little dusty but seems very sound and I believe is in good usable condition. I also like it for decor or household or workshop use as a hanging basket. Needs a new home. I am also listing a second wire fish basket which shows the patina of age. You are bidding on two Vintage St. Croix Collapsible Fishing Rods And Reels With Cases(Fishing Machine) On one of the rods and reels the push button stays in the cast release position and thus when reeling. The head won’t turn to retrieve the line. The drag knob adjusts fine and the handle turns freely, it just won’t retrieve as it won’t come out of the cast release position. On top of the reel is a range finder with an"on" and"off" settings slide. It seems to operate but I am unsure of its purpose. The other fishing machine seems to work almost properly, but I feel needs some cleaning and lubrication. Although the cast release button works, it seems to slowly migrate back to the retrieve position before cranking the handle. The reeling mechanism works fine, but you have to have the drag adjusted pretty tight to have the ... morehead turn and retrieve the line. This is why I feel it needs some cleaning and lubrication. Also, the range finder switch on this machine is stuck in the on position and will not move freely like on the other machine. Both machines are in decent appearance with some scratches and rubs to the silver finish at the base of the rod, but nothing out of the ordinary for rods of this vintage. Nice old vintage bamboo handle“Harrimac” fly fishing net. Good condition except for the net has come loose in places. The handle measures 24 inches long. I'm selling my antique fishing collection.
