Hi, I have for sale is a Quality Gunslip Hunting/Shooting/Fishing Tackle Canvas& Leather Bag. The bag has a label saying Quality Gunslip- Made in Mid Wales. at one side of the bag and a Large Brass Ring at the other side. The bag has a shoulder strap and Two front pockets on the bag and a water proof removerble liner on the inside of the bad. The bag has been used and there are some signs of use but I would say it is in good overall condition with very little sign of use on the leather straps(holes) were the buckles are used. Antique Fishing Priest / Antique Game Priest / Antique Salmon Priest
Hi. I have for sale an unusual Antique Fishing Priest, you will see from the photos that the Priest is made from a dark wood and has some irregular turning markings on the shaft. The top of the Priest has a fine leather cover where I believe the wood has been drilled and filled with metal(I would think lead) at the bottom of the Priest are some old tack nails which show the remnants of leather which would have been the holding strap. The Priest measures just over 30cm in length and weighs around 180 grams on my Kitchen Scales. A nice collectable for the fishing Enthusiast. Happy bidding. Postage quote is for the UK mainland only. (150) HD 12/0 Eagle Claw Long Line Fishing Hooks
For sale here are(150) Heavy Duty Eagle Claw Long Line 12/0 fishing hooks. I am not too knowledgeable about hooks these are either 10/0 or 12/0(that is what is written on the bucket) and I called them long line because they look like hooks for sale on eBay that are described as such. I have a 5 gallon bucket of these to sell and have packaged them up in lots of 150 because they fit perfectly in a USPS small Flat Rate box. Which ships all over for $5.95 which is a good deal for this heavy box of hooks. The box of hooks is $20 which computes to 13 cents each. I think the hooks are unused. Some are discolored and some have a bit of rust, which I think resulted from them getting damp sitting in the bucket, because the further down I get in the bucket the shinier they get. This discoloration in no way affects the strength or effectiveness of the ... morehooks. These are some tough sturdy looking hooks. You are bidding on a used but in good condition commercial fishing longline with 27 NEW commercial number size 7 Mustad tinned hooks- ie not angling hooks 0/0 etc. It is 229 foot long. 4 mm in thickness 3 stranded rope- quick sinking. The snoods are roughly 17 inches long( backspliced for easy hook change) The snoods are NEW and are a light green(not green/yellow as seen in the photo) Hook to hook roughly 8 foot. This can be laid from a small boat or staked from a low water beach. Ideal for catching cod. Skate, dogfish, bass etc. Being able to absorb water. These lines are quick sinking. They are NOT made from polypropylene, twine, mono filament or similar non-absorbent materials like some lines advertised on e-bay. You are bidding for a single used commercial fishing longline. These long lines have been used. Many times successfully for fishing for cod, skate, dogs, bass. These are commercial long lines. There is a variety of mainline thickness ranging from 3.8mm to 5.2mm. Snoods are approx 15" long. Snoods are approx 6ft apart. Each line varies approximately but has around 27 hooks and 180ft long. The lines have not been used for a season. Hence in storage and some hooks may need sharpening or changing. Have numerous lines to sell. So would consider selling more at winning bid. Sold as seen. Advertised in other locations so can be removed prior to auction ending.
