This auction includes a one Elite fly reel and two spare spools. There is a heavier floating line on one spool. A clear intermediate on another, and a sink tip on the third spool. All the lines are in great shape. I believe the intermediate is a four-weight line, the sink-tip a five, and the floater a six, but I am not entirely certain about that. 3 1/8" diameter. Hardy introduced the Princess in 1953. When introduced. It was offered in three sizes, 3" 3-1/4" and 3-1/2" And, the reel was finished in green and gold colors. The 3" and this 3-1/4" size would be dropped within a few years as would the green and gold color scheme. These first model Princess reels were further distinguished by being the first reel Hardy offered with its latest'modern' check mechanism- this mechanism featured both springs and pawls together on the same side of the check plate and allowed the reels to be easily set for either right or left hand retrieve. Lamson Konic 4.0 with approx. 125 yrds. 30lb. backing. Also spare spool without backing. Have had these for 2-3 seasons and it has performed perfectly. I used it heavily in the salt for stripers. The reason for selling is. I found a small amount of pitting as you can see in the photo's. I spoke to Lamson and they said they weren't made for heavy salt water use, but are great for fresh water. So I decided to sell them. The drag system is the exact same one that is on their more expensive reels, and it is very smooth. Absolutely love Lamson reels, Like I said, it was one of my go to reels and I fish very heavy. 2 Orvis Battenkill 5/6 Multiplier Fly Reel Spare Spools
2 spare spools in very good condition for an English-made Orvis Battenkill multiplier fly reel. They fit the 5/6 Disc model. The inner edge of the spool measures 2 3/4" in diameter. Neither spool shows much wear. Comes with an LL Bean fleece-lined case that holds both spools. I also have a Battenkill 5/6 multiplier reel and spare spool currently listed separately.
