Two Fenwick Fishing Rod FS89C & Yellow 9' Glass In need of repair..
I had high hopes of getting these rods rebuilt. So many other rods I have $ better spent on fuel. This 89c is without any damage other then 1/2 the eyes fell out how strange. The logo writing is for the most part gone, Its really in nice shape with minor scratch's I say this but can really spot any. Nothing wrong with the reel seat or cork so it would take little to get this up and running. The Yellow Fenwick is about a inch longer and seems to have the exact same action if anything it is lighter. Please Ask for more pictures if you like, I give the Brown rod a 7 1/2 out of 10 the yellow a 9 out of 10 The yellow IM not sure it looks like someone bought the blank and built it but I can't believe they would use such a cheap black plastic reel seat that is cracked where the reel foot goes in. Vintage Antique Shakespeare Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod Parts Repair
This is a vintage fly fishing rod. I believe it is bamboo with cork handle. Has a Shakespeare label. Rod sections measure 8' plus handle. There are 3 sections in addition to handle section. 2 are tip ends. The second section has corrosion on the metal so it does not fit into the handle section. One of the tip sections has same problem, other is OK. There is also a couple of spots where varnish is worn/peeled. Found in sock that is in very poor condition. This auction is for 80 broken/damaged fishing rods. All of these rods have broken tips. There are spinning and casting rods. Many medium action. Many of these are broken near the top and could simply be retipped and fished with. Some are broken further down near the handle and are good for parts only. There are also quite a few ultra light rods which could be retipped. Many of these rods have never been used and still have the original plastic on the cork handles. There are 80 rods total, you will receive exactly what is in the photos. The photos are each of 1/4 of the rods. The first photo is of 20 rods and the 2nd and 3rd photos are close ups of those rods. Vintage South Bend Bamboo Fly fishing rod. Model#359-9' Comes in four sections. With two rod tips. This rod has been well used, and is in need of some repair/restoration. Line guide on the main section by the tip is missing and the guide wrapping there is frayed. Next section has a loose guide and the next guide is not on at all. I do have the missing guide eyelet for this section. The two tips have all the guides and appear to be intact. I do not see any obvious cracks or breaks in any of the sections, the repairs needed are more cosmetic/functional. The cloth case appears to be in fairly good condition with slots for all four sections. Vintage Brooklure Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod with Oren-O-Matic Balanced Reel N0. 1140 Model B. This rig has been used and has issues. The biggest being the missing top section. The guide eyelet on the base section is off, but is taped to the metal tip(I did this years ago so it wouldn't get lost) The middle section has a bent guide, a guide that is loose on one end and another that was rewrapped at some point. Don't think it matches the other guides, so is probably a replacement. The fourth guide on this section appears to be okay. There are no cracks that I can see, but there are signs of wear on this setup. The Logo label says Brooklure, and the words Sun Valley Steel Center are hand written( above the logo. The name Harold C. Fisher is written in black near the logo also. It appears that may have been the owners name, and could possibly ... morebe the same name on the reel, but the writing is worn. The Reel is an Oren-O-Matic Balanced Reel No. 1140 Model B. Again, well used, still with the line wound on the reel. Vintage Bamboo Fly Rod. This includes 4 Pieces. This rod is being sold for parts or for restoration/repair. The part with the handle measures 37 1/4" It has the handle. The eye and the ferrule. The next part measures 18 3/4" and it has 2 eyes and both ferrules. The next two parts are both tips. One measurers 31" and has the end broken off. It has the one ferrule and three eyes. The windings are different from the other pieces, so it probably came from a different rod. The last part measures 36 1/2" and is a complete tip but missing the eyes. It has a ferrule.

Listing is for a Large Vintage Fishing Creel. 16 1/2" across bottom. 14" across top of lid, 7 1/2" tall at front, 10" tall at back, 6" wide. The basics are solid, needs new leather hinge for lid, lid closing strap and snap. The original shoulder strap is intact but would imagine fragile. There is no liner inside creel, inside appears dirty,whole thing needs good spraying to get dust off. Please see photos for condition,if you need more please be specific. This auction is for 37 broken/damaged fishing rods. All of these rods have broken tips. There are spinning and casting rods. Various actions. Many of these are broken near the top and could simply be retipped and fished with. Some are broken further down near the handle and are good for parts only. Some of these rods have never been used and still have the original plastic on the handles and the Fuji tags still on the guides. Many of these rods retail new for $100 + and have very nice Fuji guides and reel seats. There are 37 rods total, you will receive exactly what is in the photos. The photos are each of 1/3 of the rods. The first photo is of 1/3 of the rods and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photos are close ups of those rods. Five stainless replacement ferrules three of which are new and unused. These items are good to have on hand for the repair of vintage rods as well as the repair of newer rods. All are used and have been stripped off of various fishing rods. I don’t think there are any complete sets. I looked them all over and find none with damage but most have some glue or debris left from when they were removed from the rods. You get an assortment of styles and sizes as well as several different styles of inserts. I tossed about 6 extras in and several tip-tops just to make up for any that you might find unusable. This auction is for 81 broken/damaged fishing rods. They are all returns to Bass Pro Shops. There are casting and spinning rods. All of these rods are broken. Many are broken near the top and could simply be retipped and fished with. Others are broken right in the middle and would probably be for parts only. There are some very nice rods in here- Abu Garcia Veritas and Bass Pro Shops Carbonlite. Both of these rods cost about $100 new and have very nice components. Other rods/brands include various Bass Pro Shops models. Shakespeare Ugly Stiks, Browning, Berkeley, and Pfleuger.
