This fine example has the classi c trademark walnut checkered grips. The guides and wraps are in great shape and the metal rod is approximately 34 inches long and has 2 guides and the tip. The walnut fore-grip and reel are 10" long making the total length of this unique combo 44 inches. The reel is stamped on the bottom serial# 70918A. The reel is in very nice overall condition and everything on the reel functions as it should. There is a nice warm patina on the walnut wooden handle grips. St Croix Legend Salt 7' 20-40lb Conventional Rod, Foam Upper & Lower Grips
Lightly used St Croix Legend Salt 7' 20-40 conventional rod. This rod has foam upper and lower grips. The rod is in excellent condition. There is a small spot where there are a couple small scratches on the clear coat. That's it. This rod retails for $390. It is St Croix's premier line of salt water rods. The model number of this rod is LSWC70MF-WC. The blank employs St Croix's IPC and ART technology. The graphite is SCII with NSI Resin. More technology used in this series of blanks than any ever made by this fine rod maker. There are nine guides on the blank. The reel seat is an Alps aluminum component as is the gimbal. The guides are double wrapped in dark blue with light blue and silver accents. This rod is excellent for any inshore application. I used it for stripers, blackfish and sea bass. The lifting power is excellent ... moreyet the tip is sensitive enough to work extremely well fishing for blackfish. This is and outstanding top of the line rod made by American labor with American components. It doesn't get better than St Croix. I hate to let it go, but I have to raise money. Good luck bidding. Vintage Raleigh rod brake handlebars Removed from a 1920's Raleigh bicycle. The handlebars have been dismantled and cleaned but im not sure how to put them back together. The chrome is quite rusty and pitted but I would say these are in great condition for there age. Normally they would be much more rusty. All the original levers, nuts/bolts, springs, grips and everything are included. The grips have ripped down the middle but if you glued them to the handlebars they will work just fine. A lot of these items are well used and may not be useable. A good portion of them came off well used fishing rods so they may have epoxy. Rust and corrosion on them and also have bends.
