These items came on ... morea downrigger board I purchased at a garage sale and I don't need the rod holders. You will notice that on one of the bases that attach to the boat. There is a small piece missing. However, all 4 holes are solid and aren't cracked, so I don't believe there is any structural damage that would weaken them for working fine. Also. On each rod holder, there is(what looks like) dried adheisive. It comes off rather easily, but you can see its presence. I believe the guy that owned them before me didn't want the"quickdraw" holder to perform like the"quickdraws" are meant to. Therefore, he applied an adheisive to hold them down. I broke them free and they work as intended. These look like they would make a great addition to any boat and will allow you to run multiple lines w/o having any issues. If I didn't already have a set of BIG JON triples on my boat. I would be keeping these to go after the walleyes and salmon. Everything should be ready to go.the only thing that is not included is the hardware(8 screws) to mount the bases to your boat. The box weighs about 12lbs and is 24x17x4.
