Same(Hopkins and Holloway) guides and guide spacing. Reel seat and handle are slightly different however(the handle is thicker. More comfortable in my opinion) I mentioned"Used" but the rod is like new. It was only lawn cast a couple of times. Comes with a SAGE brown pouch and an aluminium tube. When I saw it at the estate sale there were a bunch of men fiddling around with all the fishing gear and somehow mixed the tube with another rod as this is for the# 5 line and the tube says# 8 line. It still fits but no sock. Also the zipper is off the track and needs attention. Still it will protect your rod in shipping.

Have had this Sage XP rod in storage and it needs a new home. It is used but very well taken care of and in very good condition. Has normal wear and tear but nothing unusual. One very small ding on lower section that I tried to show in one of the images. It is hard to spot.
