This is an awesome fly rod that I have used 5 times total. It has a few minor scratches on it that I tried my best to highlight in the pictures. Please look closely. The guides are all perfect and the rod is functionally perfect. It comes with the original sage rod tube/case that has 4 individual sections for each part of the rod. This setup is perfect for fishing anything from small mountain streams up to larger rivers and lakes. Also as a bonus I am throwing in this Okuma Sierra 5/6 reel with backing and line. As you can see from the pics. It has some wear and tear, but the bearing works fine and I actually have been using this reel as my primary reel. You are bidding on a used Sage SLT 590-4 in good condition. I bought this rod as a backup to my other SLT. I have since purchased a ZXL and no longer need it. It is not a mint or excellent(near perfect) condition rod to my thinking and that is why I.Ve listed it as good. It has some light cosmetic flaws that don't show well with camera pictures. The worst flaw is a 1/2" scratch on the second section but appears to be surface(see photo) The SLT aluminum case is in great condition and a new non Sage sock is included. The cap on the tube says 6wt. SLT but the rod is 5Wt.see close up picture of factory labeling on the rod) I have cleaned the cork with warm soap and water and it looks very nice. No chips, nicks or missing cork on the handle. The reel seat is excellent. The nickel silver hardware is excellent too.
