The purchased includes a normally $ 350.00 Echo 12.5 ft 6wt Tim Rajeff model ... moretwo handed spey rod. A normally $275.00 Ross Reels CLA 5 grey mist reel. It also includes about $150.00 worth of Airflo running line and a 480-500 grain Airflo compact skagit shooting head. This purchase will also include three different Rio Skagit Mow tips. The first is just a 10ft floating head that will help turn over those big flies that you are trying to keep close the surface. The second is 10ft tip that is integrated with 5 ft of floating and 5ft of T-11. The third head is just straight 12.5 ft of T-11. These Rio Mow tips run $25.00 dollars a piece. This would be a total value of $850.00. Again. This rod and reel has only been used twice so it is basically brand new. The only visible things wrong with this setup are two very small scratches on the reel. The scratches are so minuscule that they are almost not worth mentioning, but I am a totally straight forward seller. This package has everything you need to fish it, but a fly on the end of the leader. There are two pictures that include the only imperfections. One picture shows the tiny scratches on the reel. Beautiful Sage rod with a great fast-ish action. There are a few small cosmetics but no large scratches or chips. On the bottom of the top reel seat there is a little red/blue stain from one of my large Winter flies dye seeping into it(see pic) but other than that. The cork and rod are fantastic. As evidenced in the photos. The upper and lower cork grips show a modest bit of staining from previous handling, but remain overall, refreshingly void of any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill. Still bright and shiny like it was when first purchased. The sturdy up-locking reel seat still looks great, and was confirmed to still function perfectly too. A close review of the rod's glossy black blank from tip to butt reveals the typical light scrapes and scuffs in the expected high-traffic areas. But no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches, scores, or penetrating nicks were found that would in any way hint the rod's original strength or integrity as compromised. While a close inspection of the rod's guides revealed no trace of tarnish. Rusting or oxidization present, it does appear that one of the rod's wire snake guides was mildly deformed at one time(see detailed pics! I bought this rod brand new and it has been very well cared for. I have way too many two handed rods and this is the one I can always cast the farthest. It shoots line like no other. It is rated by Winston for a 430-469 grain line. I would stay in that grain window for a Scandi line but for Skagit lines it really comes to life with a 480 or 510 grain line. 20 to 24 feet long. Winston marks the rod a 6/7wt written on the rod, but written on the cap to the tube it's designated as a 6wt. This rod is more than enough for any steelhead you'll ever catch.
