Very well-cared for by its previous owner and seldom fished. This smooth loading, lightweight, fast-action fly rod naturally shows only a faint few nominal signs of trace cosmetic wear and tear in the expected high traffic areas. As evidenced in the photos. The cork grip display a modest bit of light staining from previous handling, and save for one small chip found on the handle forward leading edge(see pic! the grip remains refreshingly void from any major dents, gouges, or excessive missing fill. While not as pristine perhaps as it first was new. The sturdy up-locking woven-graphite reel seat looks great and still functions perfectly too. A close inspection of the rod's signature glossy green blank from tip to butt reveals the typical small scuffs and scrapes in the usual places. But no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches, scores, or penetrating nicks were found that would in any way hint the rod's original strength or integrity as compromised. Ole Florida Fly Shop is pleased to present a previously owned factory built Sage Xi2 890-4 fly rod. This is a 9'0" 4 piece 8wt rod. It features an anodized aluminum reel seat with a cork/neoprene fighting butt. The rod has a few dings and scratches on the blank and a touch of corrosion on the underside of the first stripping guide. The cork is but in good condition. Overall the rod looks good and I would grade this an 8.8 out of 10. It comes with the original rod sock and rod tube. Buyers please add $12.00 for shipping. Insurance and handling. Sage TCR 890-4 8wt 9' 4 piece fly rod
This is a used Sage TCR 8wt 9' 4-piece fly rod. I have fished it all over the world but it has been well cared for and is in excellent condition- I just have too many 8 weights. The rod has a factory written name on the butt section(see photo) which I believe can be removed. Comes with the original black tube(which shows some scuffing) and the original sock.
