Includes Cover Bag and Tube Please keep me in mind as I will be offering many sizes of earlier high quality fly rods and reels over the few weeks. These are all from a client of mine who has been an avid Florida Keys Sport Fishing fanatic. Cleaning tips: 1) If the cork grip shows dirty it is a very simple fix. Simply take the rod to any faucet. Run water over the cork. Scrub the cork surface with a dish duty ScotchBrite pad that you have added a bit of dish washing liquid on it. You will be amazed how the cork finish comes back. I do it to all of my rods with cork grips and ... morethey stay looking near new. 2) If you loose cork filler(causing craters) Not much can be done except get cork filler powder and any other of the suggested items from Mud Hole(Look them up on the Net) and follow instructions. 3) To make that rod shine a bit. Rub it well with a simple application of"Pledge" spray wax, or apply a coat of paste wax like"Bartenders Friend" and buff your rod bright. Very well-cared for by its previous owner and seldom fished. This lightweight, powerful, smooth-loading boron/graphite composite fly rod shows only a scant few nominal signs of minor cosmetic wear and tear in the expected high traffic areas. Handle/Grip: Cork Grip and Fighting Butt display a modest bit of staining from previous handling. But remain overall, refreshingly free from any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill.
