This 5-weight Scott G2 fly rod is in very good to excellent condition. I purchased this rod new and I am the sole owner. As can be seen in the photos. The cork is clean and in great shape; the burled wood insert and uplocking reel seat are in excellent condition; there are abrasions on the butt cap reflective of the rod's use; all ferrules and guides are tight and smooth; all wraps are tight and clean; there are abrasions on the rod blank, all of which are cosmetic in nature and do not affect the structural integrity or fishability of the rod at all. 9' 5 weight. 4 piece. Manufactured in 2006 for demo. This is a demo that allegedly had no use in the shop which had it as a demo. And I bought it from an individual who had it for a couple of years, which makes me the second owner. All of the guides(single foot) are in good shape, as are the wraps. I cleaned and filled the cork(filler is a little light, but will darken with use) Rod is in great shape. And really fun to fish.I took good care of this rod, and only really fished it for not quite 2 seasons and it was not a primary rod, so it saw occasional use. Some light scratches. Scott's internal ferrule creates a very smooth and light weight(3 oz) rod that throws dry flies effortlessly. But this rod also has tremendous reserve power when needed for nymphs, streamers, sinking line, it does it all. This is an early model.
