9' 5 weight. 4 piece. Manufactured in 2006 for demo. This is a demo that allegedly had no use in the shop which had it as a demo. And I bought it from an individual who had it for a couple of years, which makes me the second owner. All of the guides(single foot) are in good shape, as are the wraps. I cleaned and filled the cork(filler is a little light, but will darken with use) Rod is in great shape. And really fun to fish.I took good care of this rod, and only really fished it for not quite 2 seasons and it was not a primary rod, so it saw occasional use. Some light scratches. As should be expected, but nothing major. Buyer will pay actual shipping cost from Montrose. Colorado. Seller will not add any handling fees other than shipping cost. I bought this rod new in 2004. To use for backpacking trips for brookies in the the mountains, but I only used it a half-dozen times before taking a job out of the area and don't have access to that kind of fishing. It's been in my closet since. Very lightly used. Sweet little rod. Good for backpacking, but can handle heftier fish if you tie into them. The rod alone was $250 new. 6'6. Three-piece St. Croix Avid, in four-weight. Comes with original case. There are a couple little nicks on the butt- see photo below. Besides that, the rod is in excellent condition. This sale includes an LL Bean Quest reel. Loaded with WF 4-weight line. I believe the line is Scientific Anglers, but it's been a few years. Uplocking reel seat is unblemished. A nice moderate action. All-purpose 4-weight rod, 4-piece model for ease of packing for travel. This very serviceable rod will last a lifetime with the right care. Also comes with an Okuma SLV 2/3 reel with floating line in decent shape. Reel has some small scuffs on the back but overall in good shape. This rod was perfect for me in smaller streams and especially during the summer in low water which I don't fish too often anymore. The last of my buddies fly rods. It is a St Croix Avid AFT905-4. A 9 foot 5 weight 4 piece medium fast action fly rod. This rod is lightly fished. It is in very good used condition with slight discoloration of the handle as the only sign of use. This is a terrific all around travel trout rod. With enough power to fish streamers or nymphs, but delicate enough to lay down a dry without a ripple. It comes with the original rod tube as shown.

It features an anodized aluminum reel seat with a cork/neoprene fighting butt. This rod has some scratches on the blank and reel seat. A few of the snake guide show a tiny bit of corrosion at the base. The cork shows some use but is still in good shape. Overall the rod looks decent and I would grade this a 8.0 out of 10.
