Up for auction is a vintage St. Croix Legend Ultra SCIV fly rod that is 9 feet in length and for 6 weight line with a fast action. This rod was part of a large lot of broken. Warranty return rods purchased directly from the St. Croix factory. The rod had broken tip section, but I was able to find a matching tip section to make a complete and functional rod. The rod also has a bent but still functional hook keeper. YOUR BID IS FOR THE COMPLETE, FUNCTIONAL ROD, IN AS-IS CONDITION! When rods are turned into St. Croix for warranty, they scrap off the label to denote that the warranty has been used up. St. Croix Legend Ultra 9' 8wt Graphite Fly Rod UFT908 3 pc Excellent original
This is a GREAT St Croix Legend Ultra 8wt 9" graphite fly rod. It is the 3 pc UFT908 model. It has never been used but since I took the plastic off the handle in anticipation that I would use it I am listing it as used. It has the original tube with cloth insert. This is a great rod for both fresh and salt water fishing.

In this auction you are bidding on a lightly used: ST CROIX LEGEND ULTRA SERIES 6-WT 9-FT 4-PC FLY ROD with Divided Rod Tube included The St Croix Legend Ultra Series 9'0" 4-piece 6-weight Fly Rod being auctioned here is in good used condition. ... moreVery well-cared for by its previous owner though indeed occasionally fished. This lightweight, powerful, smooth-loading fast-action fly rod naturally shows a few nominal signs of minor cosmetic wear and tear in the expected high traffic areas. For your convenience, please refer to the photos above and the inspection results below, for important item-specific details! Handle/Grip: Cork Grip displays a good bit of staining from previous handling. But remains overall, refreshingly free from any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill. Reel-Seat: Up-locking birds-eye maple and anodized aluminum reel seat still look handsome. Remains sturdily fastened, and still functions perfectly as well. Rod Blank: A close inspection of the signature matte-green SC5 graphite blank from tip to butt reveals only a handful of very minor scuffs and light scrapes in the typical places. But no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches, scores, or penetrating nicks were found that would in any way hint the rod's original strength or integrity as compromised.
