The reel seat butt cap and sliding band are dinged, but I tried a number of reels, including a Pflueger Medalist, and they all fit securely. Cork grip is not highest quality and has a few fly hook divots. The original wraps are tight and the Feralite ferrule has no cracks and fits well. Clearly marked for 5 weight fly lines. The original Feralite decal is also intact. Shaft is clean with only a few light marks from use. Comes with a replacement partitioned hooded bag and the original triangular Fenwick tube, with correctly labeled cap. There are two airline stickers on the tube. A quality rod, ready to fish! Made in the USA. Serial# J 60330. The top 1/2 has 8 guides. Bottom has 2 guides. I bought the rod 20 plus years ago. Never fished with it. This is a nice looking rod and would good for fishing, if you like old school or a nice piece just to display. The rod came with a red and green plaid sleeve and I don't know if it the sleeve is original or not. Please see the pictures. Come in a shipping tube that is original. But the tube shows some signs of age, see pictures. I don't know the age of the rod, but if you have any questions please contact me before you bid, I will try my best to answer them. Fenwick Fiberglass Fly Rod Model FF-858 This is great used fly rod that is 8'6" and built for an 8 weight line. It is a 2 piece rod. Rod is in great condition overall with some light dings on the metal reel seat and very light scratches on the blank but they do not effect the action or performance of the rod. It is a K serial number which would date the rod to 1971-1973 time period. The tube and sock is included in the auction but it's not original. The tube was market FF 85 so it's for a different rod but still an FF series Fenwick tube and sock. You won't be disappointed with this fine fiberglass fly rod. I have several other FF series rods but don't really have a use for this particular model so I'm offering it for sale.

Fenwick Feralite FF 80 8' 7-8 Weight Fly Rod
This is a relatively lightly used Fenwick Feralight FF80 fly rod rated for 7 to 8 weight lines. While the cork shows some discoloration from use(sweat and age) the ferrule shows almost no wear and the guides and reel seat are in very good to excellent condition. The cork appears to be in good shape with no problems. I bought this rod in 1969 and it has not been fished in years. The rod comes with the original rod sock and an aluminum rod tube from Fenwick. An Orvis rod tube sock is included to protect the aluminum tube. I would expect this rod to serve its new owner well.

I bought this rod. And several others, from a California Estate sale. The rod is in excellent condition, possibly never used. The folks who are collectors. That love the feel of a great fiberglass rod, know much more than I do about this rod, so I will not attempt to classify its best application. This is a Fenwick Feralite. 9' three section, ff 108-3 43/4 oz, by F. M. Claudio. It also has A 3210 on the shaft. All of the eyes are in great shape, no loose strings, or any defects. I photographed this with my IPad. So sorry for picture quality. I will ship it in a aluminum rod tube. The aluminum tubes I have are not originals. But sturdy. This rod was in this tube when I bought it, but it may have been happenstance. I had sold this a few weeks ago. And the buyer was not pleased with the rod, he thought the signature was not original. He ... moremay be correct, I do not know. When I listed this, I had no ideal who Claudio was. The buyer wanted the rod as a collectable, display rod. I refunded his payment, and now have the rod. I will ship it in a aluminum tube, with the rod bag in the photo, it was in it when I bought it. I added some photo's. Trying to show the reflection of the clear label over the handwriting. I took the rod to a local fly fishing shop. And asked their opinion. They said it looks like who ever hand wrote ff103-3 9' And 43/ 4oz, also signed F. M. Claudio. It is on the rod. With a clear label that has the Fenwick logo on it, over the writing. He said that made sense to him, it protected the writing. The first buyer also said the rod had scratches on the butt. And a possible hook mark in the cork. This is true. I do not think anyone was trying to deceive when I bought this rod. And I promise I am being as forth coming as possible. Vintage Fiberglass Fenwick FF 756 7 1/2 Foot Fly Rod Mint Condition
This is a vintage fenwick fiberglass 2 piece 7 1/2 foot fly rod in mint condition. Rod comes with a fenwick tube and sock but I don't believe they are the correct size. Numbers don't match up. Rod was manufactured in the USA. Lines guides are very tight and glossy with no damage. Labels are very clean and reel seat fenwick engraving very sharp. See pictures. Model is FF 756.
