You are bidding on one of the first Sage rods made. A 9 ft 2 piece Graphite II(2) 4 weight 490 RP. This is a huge collector's item and years down the road will be worth a ton. Not to mention it is a great fishing tool that is fun to cast. The rod comes with it's original rod sock and aluminum tube. The rod shows a few scratches from honest use, but given the age, is in great shape. The rod really lights up in the sun and I tried to show that in some of the pictures. In excellent condition. The photos speak for the rod condition. I have used it, but it has been well taken care of. At the end of each season I clean the cork and rest of the rod, and wax the actual rod with Simonize. Compete with Loomis rod sock(original) in hard zipper case(original) Note the zipper pull in the 5th photo-part of the pull broke off, but there is still enough to hold to zip it open or closed. The zipper works just fine. for a 5(or 6) weight line, 9 feet long, 4 pieces. This is a fast rod, and will cast large streamers and bass bugs, as well as a 7 wt. tippet with a small fly.
