Up for auction is a vintage St. Croix Imperial SCII fly rod that is 9 feet in length and for 6 weight line with a moderate fast action. This rod was part of a large lot of broken. Warranty return rods purchased directly from the St. Croix factory. The rod had a broken mid section, but I was able to find a matching mid section to make a complete and functional rod. There may be subtle color variations in the rod pieces due to the age of these blanks. This will not effect the functionality of the rods. YOUR BID IS FOR THE COMPLETE, FUNCTIONAL ROD, IN AS-IS CONDITION! When rods are turned into St. Croix for warranty, they scrap off the label to denote that ... morethe warranty has been used up. If you look at the pics you can see where the labels have been removed. If you would like a more finished look for the rod, I would be happy to add a black wrap over the removed label and write on the rod specs. The spare tip is also in excellent condition. The very butt of the rod has a bit of scratching(see picture) but nothing to effect performance.
