This is a Winston 2-piece 9 ft for 4 wt. I purchased the rod new at the Winston factory in Montana over 30 years ago. It is a fantastic 4wt rod. With incredible delicateness and plenty of strength into the wind. There are a few slight scratches and scuffs on the rod. And the three guides on the butt section have some very slight movement to them when I push on them. The wrapping on the first guide of the butt section is worn at one edge(see photo 5) and the wrapping of the second guide has some bleaching or other effect(see photo 6) The guides and ferrules of the tip section look good. This is a Scott SAS 904 Fly Rod. It's a 2 pc/ 4wt/ 9ft rod that has been well maintained. Loved and appreciated. It comes with it's original Scott Rod Tube. There's wear on the cork in a few spots near the reel seat as seen in the pictures and a few light scuff on the blank near the butt(cosmetic only) Overall it is in great shape and will provide decades of more fishing. These are the type of workhorse trout rods that put Scott on the map. Fished it all over the West- Deschutes, Upper Sac, McCloud, Metolius and McKenzie. Orvis hydros rod 9ft 4wt tip flex 4pc and access mid arbor reel mint cond
This is a like new(I used it once) orvis hydros with an or is access mid arbor reel and 4wf floating line. Total new value at purchase was $750+. Orvis discontinued the hydros line of rods because it ate business for they're more expensive Helios line. Both rods share the same blank. So essentially your'e buying a Helios rod with a slightly cheaper handle/ferules, but still, of course, orvis' highest quality. This rod is in mint condition like I said I used it once and it was incredible on the trout stream. Unfortunately I have to sell it, just need the money. Whomever buys this will not be disappointed.
