This is an awesome fly rod that I have used 5 times total. It has a few minor scratches on it that I tried my best to highlight in the pictures. Please look closely. The guides are all perfect and the rod is functionally perfect. It comes with the original sage rod tube/case that has 4 individual sections for each part of the rod. This setup is perfect for fishing anything from small mountain streams up to larger rivers and lakes. Also as a bonus I am throwing in this Okuma Sierra 5/6 reel with backing and line. As you can see from the pics. It has some wear and tear, but the bearing works fine and I actually have been using this reel as my primary reel. Sage DS2- 5 weight- 8 ft. 3 in length- 4 piece- rosewood reel seat. Excellent condition- SAGE travel tube with integrated rod sock dividers- serial# 7/41743 Overall this fly rod is in great condition. There are some small cosmetic scratches throughout the length of the rod. Barely noticeable unless you are looking very closely. There is a scratch next to the hook keeper. Which i have included in a photo. It is only a cosmetic scuff and will have no effect on the rod. This has been a great rod. I'm just interested in trying something new.

Here is a very nice SAGE DS2 Mdl 590 Graphite II 2 Pc Flyrod. 9'0' 3 1/4oz for#5 Line. It measures the full length 9 ft long when assembled with each section being 55" long. The tip has never been broken and all the sections fit tightly with no slack and the rod looks great. I had a terrible time getting good photos that depict the details of the rod and I tried several different settings. The rod is a very dark brown color. If you need better pictures email me and if the snow melts I will take some pictures in natural light, it should show up better. The cork is dirty and I did not try to clean it but it should clean up nice. There are a couple of scuffs on the reel locking ring that are shown in the photos. You will like this rod especially in smaller and midsize streams. NOTE: Satisfaction is guaranteed, check my feedback ... moreand see my return policy for details.
