Vintage Original 80's Sage Graphite II 490 RP 2 piece 9 ft 4 weight fly rod
You are bidding on one of the first Sage rods made. A 9 ft 2 piece Graphite II(2) 4 weight 490 RP. This is a huge collector's item and years down the road will be worth a ton. Not to mention it is a great fishing tool that is fun to cast. The rod comes with it's original rod sock and aluminum tube. The rod shows a few scratches from honest use, but given the age, is in great shape. The rod really lights up in the sun and I tried to show that in some of the pictures. Everything is in really nice shape, and while not perfect(unused) is still in great condition and perfectly fishable. In fact I recently fished it on my last trip, I just have too many rods. Orvis Access 5 weight fly fishing rod 9 ft
Up for Auction is an Orvis Access 9' 5 weight Mid flex rod. These are an excellent all around rod. As you can see this rod comes in slightly used condition. It was purchased new in September. The most outstanding flaw is the the rod tube handle strap is broken on one side and has been reinforced with tape. At the end of each season I clean the cork and rest of the rod, and wax the actual rod with Simonize. Compete with Loomis rod sock(original) in hard zipper case(original) Note the zipper pull in the 5th photo-part of the pull broke off, but there is still enough to hold to zip it open or closed. The zipper works just fine. for a 5(or 6) weight line, 9 feet long, 4 pieces. This is a fast rod, and will cast large streamers and bass bugs, as well as a 7 wt. tippet with a small fly. There is a very minor spot on the reel seat thread where a tiny bit of anodizing is missing. I have lawn cast this rod but never had it in the water. It is an amazing rod. christian brink custom 9 ft 5 weight fly rod with rod tube
hello. Up for bidding is a Christian brink custom 9 ft 5 weight fly rod in almost new condition. I purchased it from the original owner and just have not had the time to use it nearly as much as it should. it has very little signs of use. there is no rust, corrosion, or any flaws. all the line guides are as they should be. the reel seat and lock are without problems. the original owner must have been an Oregon university fan. the rod tube is Oregon green with Oregon name on it. there is a small paint chip near the cap end. it is visible in the picture. the tube seals with an o ring cap and is completely weather resistant. there is also a rod sock that is included. the rod has always been kept indoors. the fly rod handles very nicely. shipping will be $10 to continental United States. send me any questions you have and I will try and answer ... morethem as soon as I can. thank you and good luck with your bidding.
