Well-cared for by its previous owner and only occasionally fished. This crisp loading, quick-tipped, fast-action fly rod naturally shows a few nominal signs of light cosmetic wear and tear in the expected high traffic areas that one might expect in a rod that's seen rare and infrequent use. As evidenced in the photos. The extended cork foregrip displays a hint of modest staining from previous handling, but remains overall, quite void of any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill. The sturdy barrel black anodized up-locking reel seat still looks handsome and bright like it did when new, and was confirmed to still function perfectly too. A close inspection of the rod's signature glossy-blue blank from tip to butt reveals the usual small scuffs and scrapes in the expected areas. But no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches, scores, or penetrating nicks were found that would in any way hint the rod's original strength or integrity as compromised. The rod has been out on the skiff a couple times and used once looking for tarpon, they weren't running yet. The skiff has a one piece 12 weight so this fly rod doesn't get used, and needs to be out getting fished hard, it's amazing. It deserves a good home. The rod is a flat-out cannon.
