Salvesen Lake is a beautiful 7 mile long lake that lends itself to the fancy of every fisherman. Salvesen is located on the Sturgeon River system, which in turns connects to the famous English River. This connecting river system provides for excellent spawning grounds as well as a healthy baitfish population.
This lake has the perfect recipe for a healthy walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike population. Salvesen Lake has many underwater reefs, weedy bays, islands and rapids that provide the perfect habitat for some really magnificent fish! In a typical day, it is not uncommon for anglers to catch over 100 fish per boat.
