Silv'ry Moon Lodge is situated on the scenic South Shore of Trout Lake and offers a simply quiet getaway, for the avid fisherman and families. Trout Lake is 15 Miles long, 45 miles of beautiful shore line, is well marked for shoals, with numerous islands and bays to fish, explore, have a shore lunch or pick blueberries. Seldom does the lake get too rough to fish. For the fishermen, a good variety of fish species are found in Trout Lake, including Northern Pike, Pickerel ( Walleye), Large and Small Mouth Bass, Muskie and Lake Trout. Children's favorite pan fish can be had from shore ensuring a happy day, along with frog catching. Silv'ry Moon Lodge offers Clean comfortable housekeeping cabins and a small Camping area for Tent & Trailers. Our Boats are 14' Lund boats with 15h.p. Johnson motors for reliability. All boats are equipped with padded swivel seats, nets, life jackets and safety equipment. Docking and launch ramp available for guests bringing their own boats. Gas, oil, ice, bait and tackle are also available. Clean your fish in our fully equipped screened in cleaning station with stainless counter and sink with running water. Aside from fishing, Silv'ry Moon Lodge has a safe and sandy beach and playground for families to enjoy. Nature lovers among us - Hike down the trails and old logging roads to see old growth forests, bird watching and canoe along the picturesque shores. Animals you might see on hikes, boating or drives include: Moose, Elk, Deer, Bear, Partridge, Wild turkeys, Eagles, Cranes, Osprey, Hawks, Loons, Otters, Beaver, Mink, Flying squirrels, Chipmunks and numerous types of Ducks, Bring a camera at ALL times. Leisure Activities - Badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, boating, paddleboat, swimming, canoe, kayak, socialize or just lounge about and let time disappear.

We have eight rustic looking log cabins ranging from 2 to 3 bedrooms (two to eight people). All cabins have screened porches, outdoor sundecks, hot & cold water, refrigerators, ... morestoves and microwaves.
Each cabin is equipped with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, and bed linens. Just bring your towels, face and dish cloths. Enjoy the sandy beach right in front of the cabins.

Trout Lake is spring fed, fourteen miles long with forty four miles of shoreline. Lake trout, muskie, walleye, northern pike, large and smallmouth bass are plentiful.
For a change of pace we also have boats on outlying wilderness lake.
For your convenience we have an enclosed fish cleaning station with stainless steel counters and sink with running water.

We have a good selection 14' Lund boats, 15 HP motors, and Canoe for rent. Our Lund boats have 2 Padded Swivel Seat, to make your day fishing, more comfortable. They can accommodate ... more2-3 fishermen with room for their gear.
We supply boat safety equipment, life jackets, landing net, paddle and anchor. Gas, oil and bait are available.
You supply your own fishing rods/reels, special fishing tackle and good fishing story.
At Silv'ry Moon Lodge there is a granite launch ramp for guests bringing their own boats and a storage area for boat trailers.
Trout Lake has many natural springs that feed into it and is 15 miles long with forty five miles of shoreline with numerous islands and bays to explore. Fish for Lake trout, Muskie, Walleye, Northern Pike, dancing Large & Smallmouth Bass and pan fish are plentiful.
For a change of pace, spend a day at our back lake, fishing for Northern Pike. Just a short hike and boat ride will bring you to a little piece of heaven, up here in Northern Ontario. You may never want to leave.
After a good day Fishing, it's now time to clean those fish. For your convenience we have an enclosed, screened fish cleaning station with long stainless steel counter and sink with running water.
Don't forget to save some of those fish fillets for Wednesday night fish fry.
