It is the same as a Crack 300 which replaced and it is a good reel to fish with. If you are not happy with an item. Returns are fine but the buyer pays shipping. The reels I sell are 98% used. And in between 20& 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. Vintage Luxor No. 1 Spinning Reel Original No Bail in Box Near Mint Unused
800x600 This is a vintage Luxor No. 1 spinning reel made in France. It is an original model that does not have a bail. The finger pick-up reels are harder to find. Many people cut the bail off. But this one came this way from the factory. I’m going to call this reel new. I don’t think the reel has ever been used. There are no marks on the foot showing that it was ever attached to a rod or any other evidence that shows any use. There is no rash. But there are a few slight toning marks. Mechanically there are no issues. Everything works as it should. This reel comes complete with the box. Owners manual, and authorized repair station list. The owners manual has the schematic for a reel with a bail. So I don’t know if this is what came with it or not. The box is solid and sturdy. This is a nice collector’s reel. Super clean vintage aqua Luxor 3-LA (Crack 200) spinning reel+++
Hello. This reel has been in the family since the'60s and was only used a couple times in freshwater. It is a beautiful aqua color and has been spooled with new Sufix Tritanium. Super clean inside and out. I planned to take it out on the water for the first time in years, but things changed. All functions are flawless. Gears are smooth, drag is strong, bail is crisp, anti reverse locks solid, and the line roller actually rolls. Absolutely no corrosion. Screw heads are in nice condition. Vintage Luxor no.3L.A MP spin reel This medium large spin reel was made in France in the 50s and wieghs 16oz. It will hold 250yds. of 12lb. test. It is in very good condition but shows paint loss and scratches. It has a bronze colored metal body. Smooth drag, rolling roller, strong anti-reverse, and good gears. This reel has a 3.8/1 gear ratio and is a very good quality reel, it is a grade 8/8+. If you are not happy with an item. Returns are fine but the buyer pays shipping. The reels I sell are 98% used. And in between 20& 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. Used vintage Luxor Luxe spinning reel by Pezon& Michel with original box. The model is 1959. Type A, No. 1. This fishing reel was manufactured in France. This reel is about 4 inches in length and weighs a light 9 1/5 ounces. Spool is 2 inches in diameter. Speed is 3:8 to 1 with auto bail and anti reverse. Reel shows minimal usage and wear on main reel and spool. With no surface markings. Mechanically very smooth. Winds easily and smoothly. There are two sets of papers that come with the reel. One a Luxor Reels authorized repair stations and the Reel instructions with schematics. The two piece cardboard box is missing the outside label. It is in very good condition but shows light paint loss and scratches. It has a goldish bronze colored metal body. Smooth drag, rolling roller, strong anti-reverse, and good gears. With just a few light scratches on the spool housing and opposite handle side, and a couple of the edges as shown in photos. Operationally it works great, although the bailer seems a tad slow. It is hard to tell sometimes with the older reels too, but may need some sort of fine tuning. It flips every time and wouldn't consider it a significant defect. Also the clicker on the lower right-hand side doesn't seem to do anything, but again not sure what this one is intended for. This is a Luxor model reel, most likely private labelled for Martin by Pezon et Michel in France. Introduced by Martin in the early 1960s. This is quality beyond what is normally expected of Martin. It has an on/off anti-reverse button on the tail plate side. Loaded with monofilament line that I wouldn't trust.

VINTAGE SPINNING REEL OWNERS MANUALS PEZON& MICHEL- LA MARQUE CENTENAIRE- LUXOR-LUXE& JOHNSON CENTURY MODEL#100- AMERICAN TYPE" This auction is for a pair of original spinning reel owners manuals. There are no dates on either manual so ages are estimated by reel manufacturing time period. The first is a spinning reel from Paris. France and named the Luxor-Luxe from Pezon& Michel. The title inside the manual states Type A No 1 and we believe it is from the 1950's or 1960's. The manual is tri-fold and made of glossy paper with red coloring on the cover and red highlighting on the schematic inside. The entire inside is a blown out schematic for the reel with a parts list for the No 1, No 1 S, and a special parts list for the No 1, No 1 B, No 1 R, and No 1 SR reels. The manual lists the characteristics of the reel, how ... moreto set up your tackle and accessories. The manual measures 16.5" X 8.5" when completely unfolded. The manual has great color still with minor yellowing, some wrinkling around the folds and an additional fold that bisects the tri-fold that may or may not be original. The second reel manual is for a JOHNSON CENTURY Model#100"American Type" spinning reel and should be from the 1950's or early 1960's. This was the first model made by Johnson and the guarantee on the manual actually has the name of the other founder of the company H. Warren Denison. The manual measures 6" X 15" when completely unfolded, but folds all the way down to 3" X 3" It is made of regular paper with black images. The manual has a complete blow out schematic of the reel with all of the parts and a parts list. It discusses lubrication, do's and don'ts, and instructions on how to use the reel, the spool, the drag adjustment, the anti-reverse, and the click control. Luxor Pezon 300 SURF SPINNING REEL MADE IN FRANCE 1950'S Crack
This reel was made in France.This was the reel of choice for serious northeast surf fishermen from the 50s to the 80's. Tuff to kill! Its is in very good condition and everything works well.There is some minor paint loss on its rare Black colored metal body. Most were a gray color. It has a smooth drag. Good anti-reverse. The bail snaps closed as it should, and very smooth gears. Its rare to find one with the bail still intack, most were cut off. It is a bit dusty. It was part of my collection for many years. for auction is 3 luxor reels. the large mer et saumon works great but has some paint wear on the spool and a few blemishes on the reel. it is black which i know most of these reels were green so i dont know if it was repainted. has the box. if it was they did a very good job. the seven seas has been repainted. its hard to crank and has rust on the threads where the handle screws on. there is a chip on the reel foot. has the box. Elegant Old Pezor & Michel Luxor Spinning Reel
Hello there. I have here a Pezor& Michel spinning real. Variety Luxor. It is in superb condition. Works perfectly. Seems to be completely untouched after years of faithful service. The main body screws do not appear to have ever been removed, in fact, I don't believe anyone has ever taken it apart. Of course I could clean it up but for you collectors.I'll leave that up to you. Please note it is much darker in person as my incandescent desk lamp and camera combined seem to lighten things up. I am so tempted to take it apart, clean everything, and take it fishing. My first reel back in the 1960's was a Mitchell 300 and this reminds me of it alot but am sure it is much earlier. Not sure why they don't use this simple pick up system these days.

Mint cond LUXOR-LUXE PEZON& MICHEL 1959 TYPE A spinning reel in gorgeous condition.This reel had never been used.It sat in someones garage.Basement, or closet for 55 years until the day i went snook fishing recently.It performed flawlessly.The only scuffs i can see is on top of reel foot where foot presses against rod, not underneath foot.These scuffs were not present before i took the reel fishing so i must have put them there.Testafying to the fact that the reel was never used before me.Anti-reverse works perfectly.Cranks smoothly.Strong bail.Perfect smooth drag with drag click.Handle knob smooth.I have to list reel as mint condition because it is just to perfect.Comes with original owners manuel and warrenty card and box top and bottom.Box is in good condition and so are manuel and warrenty card.This is a rare time capsule.Thank you ... morefor bidding!

Case and portion that hold the spool have all the paint intact except for one tiny mark and the portion that attaches to the rod has only minor scuffing of paint.
