It is found in good used condition, featuring a cork wood bobber, braided line, sinker and hook,wrapped around a board. It was used to fish odd a boat. The only condition issue to discuss is some of the paint is peeling away from the bobber, as see in the photos. The wood measures approximately 8 5/8" x 2 1/8" in size. An old wooden spool measuring 2-3/8" diam. and 1-3/4" wide. Containing used line which appears to be the original. Both labels have been holed but still display nicely. Vintage is probably 1920's. Set of 5 Ice Fishing Tip-ups Good Working Cond. - Braided Line and New Flags
Up for bid is a set of 5 good used ice fishing tip-up style traps. These are the standard size not the high flag variety. These would be great inexpensive set to have as spares or for your wife or kids to fish in near shore. These are made of a hard plastic material and are all spooled up with braided fishing line. Two are equipped with 4" large capacity spools for deep water fishing. These two have adjustable drag. The trap you see that is set up has had a slight repair made. One of the crossbars was broken and my husband fitted it with a new wooden one. He has tested them all and put them in good working order but noted that some of the spools are wound to the right and some to the left. Other than for consistency it doesn't matter as these traps will trip when wound in either direction. These have also been fitted with new hot ... morepink jumbo flags.
