Antique Vintage Medium Sized Wooden Block & Tackle Pulley-Great Patina!
Up for auction is a great antique block and tackle. This wooden pulley has nice vintage charm. As you can see the wood has obvious signs of wear and age. This piece measures 15 1/2" in overall length. The wooden block measures 5" long and 4" wide and 4 1/2" thick. T he hook itself measures approx. 4" wide and 6 1/2" long. This is quite heavy. Weighing 8 lbs. As you can see in Photo 7. This piece is marked or stamped with what appears to read'U.H. CO' Notice the excellent patina on this pulley. Wow. This is a very unusual piece! A must have for the die hard tackle collector. It is a very early brass tackle box believed to be from the 20s but can not be verified. Very good chance this was a one off. 14" long x 3 1/2" diameter. Huge Vintage Antique Metal Tackle Box- Extra Large Army Green in Good Cond.
You are bidding on a HUGE Vintage Antique Metal Tackle Box. This army green thing is huge as you can get a little perspective from the picture I took with a modern standard size tackle box. Measurements are 21" long. 8.5" wide, and about 9.5" high. All of the snaps work just fine, although sometimes you have to hold your mouth right to get all three holes lined up. Seriously though, after opening and shutting it a couple of times you kind of get the hang of it. This tackle box, while vintage, is not perfect, it is missing some paint here and there, it has a two- tone paint job on one end, and a small dent(pictured) on one corner. As you can see, the little compartments inside are lined with cork, and the entire inside is quite spacious. This is certainly a rare find. Great for the collector. First the lid is lifted and then the front panel folds out in order to reveal the interior. The interior has a top shelf that is designed to hold 5 cylinder shaped containers. These containers are plastic and have black Bakelite lids. Under the shelf there is a section that can house whatever needs to be stored. The vintage contents of the box include ... morethe following: Lead weights/ shot in assorted shapes and sizes with original shot cloth bag. Fishing hooks. Rubber like round floats. Old corks. Old newspaper cut out with information on fishing. Printed booklet. The booklet is“The Anglers’ Handbook 1971-72 by The Victorian Piscatorial Association. Though the book dates to the early seventies– I think that the box is much. Much older than that. Judging by the style of image on the front of the box and the design of the box itself including the leather strap– it looks to be from about the late 1940’s– 50’s. CONDITION The box itself is in structurally very good order. There are no splits. Dings, etc. The clear plastic containers with the Bakelite lids are also in good order and they too are free from splits. Cracks, etc. The catch on the box works well and is in good functioning order The leather strap has life left in it and is fine. The vintage contents of the box appear to be fine as well. Vintage Antique Fly Fishing Tackle Box Metal Outside Wood Inside.
Up for bid is an old fishing tackle box. The box has no marks as to who the maker was and was owned by a ww1 vet who was still fishing into the late 50's" I have his old fishing licence up for auction on here right now" so this could be from a broad time period. I even thought he may have put the wood inside and made it a tackle box. The outside is a Green Metal and it has some rust and paint loss on the top. Note the 4 screws on the top of the box that hold the wood into the top of the box. The bottom and the sides have some paint scrapes from being used. Inside the top of the box is lined with wood 3 pieces of cork for hooks or flys. There is also a small wood piece that your leaders could slide down behind to hold them into place. The bottom is also wood with six compartments. The dividers are glued into place. There is some ... morelight dirt wear on the inside. Has original paint on the inside(lid and trays) but bottom and outside were painted long ago. Original logo on the front. See photos. Tackle box measures 16" long. 8 1/2" wide, and 10 1/2" tall. As you can see, the inside opens up into several different compartments. There are a few similar tackle boxes listed on eBay but not this size, or in as good of shape, or with the keys. Vintage Tackle Box is in almost perfect condition. Small scratches on the bottom show signs of use. and a mark inside. Amazing Condition. The Name pressed into the bottom appears to be N INC. Unsure of who they are. Opens and Closes nicely. Closed Size: 7" x 13 1/2" x 5" Tall Age: Unknown. It is in such a nice condition its hard to tell. Appears to have the Original Orange Paint.

I'm not sure the maker on this box. It's 16" by 9" by 9" Your seeing it the way I found it. This was in some boxes I dug out. Most of the spoons are old USA made spoons. Some were punched to allow air bubbles to flow through. Old Thompson fish skinner in the bottom. The green& yellow are not painted in if I'm seeing it right but original to the box.
