Here is a vintage metal box My Buddy 242. The box is blue and has trays for fishing tackle. Approximate size: 13" long by 6" x 6" I have included many photos to show the 3 dings/ dents. Hopefully the dime in photo gives the idea of size. Top has white specks of paint. Photo 8 shows the latch which I pulled out to take the photo. The latch has two prongs which go into the box and are twisted to keep the latch in place- one prong is partially broken off. Outside does have some light stains from? As you can see it has had some good use! Up for auction is this vintage(antique? My Buddy TACKLEMASTER Steel Tackle Storage Box. It has a really pretty blue finish(yes I'm a girl) and the original My Buddy TACKLEMASTER with a picture of a fish. Still on the lid-in AMAZING CONDITION(the sticker) The handle is in EXCELLENT condition, looks like BAKELITE to me but I am not positive? Handle is attached with brass facets& they are solid and secure. It has some slight rust patches on the outside, and inside, see the pictures.The bottom also has rust along the perimeter of the raised base, no rust(holes) goes through the steel. The bottom also has rubber disks to raise it up, one is completely worn off, two others are somewhat worn. 3 others are somewhat worn but intact. these could easily be replaced I think as they appear to be just simple ... morerubber disks.When the lid is open, two compartmented shelves on each side also open simultaneously and there is more storage in the bottom.The shelf hinges are in very good working condition, secure. THERE IS A WORKING LOCK AND A KEY! The previous owners name is taped on the inside lid but can be removed, as it is that type on kind of tape. All the hinges, lid, closures, etc are in very good working condition, solid& stable. I don't see any dents at all. There are some scratches, it could be cleaned up some, maybe some cork down on bottom& on the shelves would be nice? There are 2 trays inside that lift up and out of the box as the lid is opened. There is a front metal latch that simply lifts up. You will need to add your own lock to keep it closed. This has a sticker on it that appears to say My Buddy and No 13. It is rather hard to read and I am selling it as you see in the pictures. This is in good vintage used condition. Wow. Really nice 4 tray model 416, in fantastic shape. Rubber mat has been glued down to the bottom of tray, so there is glue residue on the bottom, doesn't stand out muich unless you put a flash on it. This is a estate find that I know little about other than what I can see and what I see is a usable vintage tackle box measuring approximately 16 inches long by approximately 9 inches wide by approximately 9 inches tall when folded up and latched. The tackle box has 4 or 5 or more dings/dents along with areas of rust. Scratches, scuffs, wear and fading. Hinges on one side is a little stiff as I have to pull on the lid to get the trays to fold out. Even with the noted defects this tackle box along with some WD40 to help loosen the hinges up along with use will make this tackle box overall a good used condition ... moretackle box. My Buddy A Falls City Product. Rather good condition for age. There are several spots of surface rust on inside bottom. Inside of lid and just a few on the outside. Supplies include; The Niagara fish hook holder, 3 wood-1 cork-3 wooden bobbers. Vintage wood fish fishing lure(no name) 2 lures in original package, other lures, casting reel(no name) and box with some hooks. Most all(except packaged items) have been used and shows use. No key.

My Buddy Vintage Tackle Box, 6 trays, nice
This"My Buddy" vintage tackle box is in good condition. There are no major dents in the aluminum box. It has six folding trays and the hinges operate well. There are six extra removable dividers in the bottom of the box. This would make a nice addition to a vintage collection.
