Vintage Plano 8606 Tackle Box - up to 44 compartments
A gently used Plano 8606 that is ready to use. It is clean except for some dark stuff in one of the top trays(see 6th photo) and a couple of the sections in other trays. This soiling will not come out but isn't hurting anything. The box and trays have their original form and are not distorted from heat or wear. The trays lift out easily like they should. No broken plastic or hardware anywhere. And the labels are intact. The posi-latch mechanism works. The side latches work, and the handle is secure. This is my own box that I have used the last couple of years. I bought another 8606 this Spring that is worn but still works. And I don't need both, so I am selling this nicer box. The handle and tray liners are plastic. The hinges, handle, and clasp are all in good working order and firmly attached. The trays do not have any cracks or holes. There is some stuck-on debris in a couple of the plastic compartments and inside the main compartment. Vintage Kennedy tool fishing tackle box No. 1118-AL cantilever 41 compartments
Measures 18" L x 10" w x 12 1/2" H and weighs 8 pounds. Made of all aluminum with 41 plastic compartments that fit into square aluminum trays. Looks like the plastic compartments cannot be removed. All have dirt stains. Some more than others and no holes or cracks. All are straight with no dents. Bottom of the box has minor paint loss and no damage. Outside of the box has no dents, no damage. It has the original sticker as shown in the pictures and is in very good condition overall for its age. It does have a small indentation in the back corner as shown in the picture and does have a little amount of wear on the front latch part. I don't believe that this was used very much as from the condition as shown in the pictures.
