ITEM DESCRIPTION: Nice Vintage UMCO 205U Tackle Box PLUS UMCO P-9 Pocket Fishing Tackle Box This auction includes two(2) vintage tackle boxes from UMCO Coporation. Watertown, Minnesota. First is the model 205U. Which is well constructed with heavy guage plastic, and all of the metal parts are aluminum. Never have to worry about a rust problem. As you can see in the pictures, inside are 3 tiered trays with individual spaces for fitting all sorts of lures and other tackle. All of the trays are in very good shape- no worm burns, cracks or holes. The dimensions are approximately 12-1/2" wide x 6" height x 5-1/2" deep. The lower tray has a slight bend on left side, but does not have any effect on opening or closing operation of tray mechanism(See Picture) Latch and handle are still in tact and work well too! In very good condition! ... moreSecond is the smallest UMCO tackle box. Model P-9, which is made of aluminum with textured surface. This is a two-sided box, and is missing the plastic tray/divider, and has seen considerable use. Wow. Really nice 4 tray model 416, in fantastic shape. Rubber mat has been glued down to the bottom of tray, so there is glue residue on the bottom, doesn't stand out muich unless you put a flash on it. It looks as if it was seldom used. This tackle box is in very good condition. It has all the hinges and the front lock. The front plate is a loose. The back hinges are marked KA DA. Brass covers on all corners. All hardware seems to be brass. Inside the box is stamped Ka Da Mfg. Co Houston. The trays are in very good condition. Box has tongue and groove construction. There are no screws in the box. It is all rivets and it looks like none have ever been replaced. The tackle box measures 18" in length x 7 1/2" in width x 7" in height and weighs close to 5 lbs.
